This is a hybrid position with 3 days a week in office We are looking for a creative and pragmatic problem solver to serve as Corporate Counsel 2 - Global Customer Experience in a growing, world-class legal team. This Corporate Counsel 2 - Global Customer Experience role will focus on supporting the Services Delivery Team (SD) and the broader Customer Experience Team (CX) that provide specialized technical and development services and solutions on the Snowflake service to our customer base. This is an in-person role based in Menlo Park, California or Dublin, California and will report to a Director, Assistant General Counsel. AS CORPORATE COUNSEL 2 - GLOBAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE YOU WILL: * Work closely and partner with the Sales, SD and CX teams on transactions that drive the company’s revenue. * Structure, negotiate, and close transactional agreements. * Work closely with internal subject-matter experts on various topics that affect your area of business. * Provide sound advice and guidance on legal and business-related issues to senior business leaders. * Manage risk and ensure business and compliance needs are accurately reflected in agreements. * Work well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. * Respond promptly to the demands of an active technology sales team and their management. * Develop and deliver training on legal issues and contract processes. * Support continuous improvements of forms, policies and processes to help streamline, simplify and automate the contracting processes. A SUCCESSFUL CORPORATE COUNSEL 2 - GLOBAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE WILL: * Be able to forge strong relationships with Snowflake’s customers and cross-functional groups within Snowflake, including Sales, SD, CX, and Alliances. * Be flexible, fun, hard-working and have the desire to be impactful, as your contributions will be a key driver to Snowflake’s continued growth and success. * Outstanding analytical, drafting, negotiation, collaboration, written, and communication skills. * Exceptional and pragmatic organizational, project management, problem-solving and prioritization skills. * Flexibility and eagerness to work hard in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines (especially at quarter end). * The ability to think and execute both strategically and tactically. * Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of people, at all levels inside and outside the organization, in a fast-paced environment. * Service-oriented, responsive, professional, and strong integrity. ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: * A minimum of 5 years of legal experience including in-house experience, preferably with a successful, high-growth enterprise SaaS company. * Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice law in the U.S for a minimum of 5 years. * Strong background dealing with SaaS-centric issues (i.e. revenue recognition, tax, privacy, security, data privacy, intellectual property), professional services and various go to market programs. * Experience with supporting Statements of Work for professional services, such as drafting the terms, negotiating the terms and supporting a professional services sales team. Senior Corporate Counsel 1 - Intellectual Property

We are looking for a driven and collaborative IP attorney to join Snowflake's growing Intellectual Property team. Reporting to the Director, Assistant General Counsel – Intellectual Property, this role will be a core member of a lean, high-impact IP team where you will have direct ownership over meaningful work from day one. You will manage Snowflake's patent portfolio, lead patent prosecution strategy, and support pre-litigation and IP litigation matters. This is an exceptional opportunity for a patent attorney who brings both prosecution and litigation experience, thrives in a fast-moving technology environment, and is eager to grow their practice into adjacent areas such as open source. This is a hybrid role based in Menlo Park, CA or Dublin, CA with a preference for Menlo Park where the majority of the IP team is based. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage Snowflake's global patent portfolio, including overseeing prosecution strategy, outside counsel relationships, and budget * Lead and continuously improve Snowflake's internal patent program, including inventor education, invention submission, and evaluation processes * Review and supervise outside patent counsel on the drafting of new patent applications and prosecution strategy across Snowflake's patent portfolio, working closely with engineers and product teams to identify and protect key innovations * Manage third party intellectual property disputes and litigations in close collaboration with the Litigation team * Provide practical IP counseling to internal clients across engineering, product, and business teams * Identify opportunities to build scalable processes and tools to improve the efficiency and impact of the IP function * Support other IP team responsibilities as needed, with opportunity to develop expertise in open source and trademark matters QUALIFICATIONS * JD from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state * 6+ years of relevant IP experience, with a meaningful mix of patent prosecution and IP litigation, including in-house experience * Registered to practice before the USPTO * Experience managing patent portfolios, overseeing outside patent counsel, and driving prosecution strategy * Familiarity with patent litigation proceedings, including experience supporting pre-litigation and litigation matters * Demonstrated ability and willingness to use and implement AI tools to improve legal workflows * Strong ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts and translate them into sound IP strategy * Excellent judgment, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to deliver practical, business-oriented advice * Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership in a fast-paced environment * A growth mindset — you're not just here to execute; you want to learn, contribute broadly, and help shape the IP function as the company scales * Experience in or exposure to open source legal matters or trademark is a plus but not required Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. About the Team The Finance Data Science team owns the forecasting systems that power Snowflake’s revenue planning and long-term financial strategy. Our work supports corporate planning, executive decision-making, and investor reporting, and we partner closely with Product and Sales to understand customer behavior and product impact. We operate at the intersection of machine learning, statistical research, and corporate finance, building production-grade forecasting infrastructure that is foundational to how the company plans and operates. The Role As a Senior Data Scientist, you will independently lead high-impact modeling initiatives and build production-ready forecasting systems for core financial metrics. You will work on complex, open-ended problems at the intersection of machine learning and business strategy, translating real-world financial questions into rigorous, scalable models. What You’ll Do * Design and implement advanced time-series and probabilistic models (e.g., hierarchical models, state-space models, Bayesian approaches, multivariate forecasting). * Contribute to internal tooling and shared infrastructure that enables scalable forecasting and analytics. * Establish best practices for model evaluation, backtesting, uncertainty quantification, and scenario simulation. * Apply advanced statistical and ML techniques to model customer behavior, product adoption, revenue dynamics, and cost trends. * Drive improvements in automation, monitoring, drift detection, and lifecycle management of forecasting models. * Partner with Finance, Product, and Sales teams to quantify the impact of new initiatives and understand key business drivers. * Mentor and provide technical guidance to other data scientists; raise the bar for modeling rigor and production quality across the team. * What We’re Looking For * Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience. * 8+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade ML or statistical systems, with significant experience in time-series modeling. * Deep expertise in probabilistic modeling, forecasting methodologies, and model evaluation techniques. * Strong proficiency in Python and the scientific Python ecosystem; fluency in SQL. * Experience designing systems for large-scale data processing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Spark). * Demonstrated ability to lead technically ambiguous projects with significant business impact. * Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting complex quantitative findings to executive stakeholders. * A track record of elevating technical standards and mentoring other scientists.
