Snowflake is seeking an experienced and dynamic Principal, Onboarding Architect to build and evolve our onboarding strategy for the Field & our partner ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Director of GTM Activation, you'll play a critical role in rapidly enabling our Account Executives (AEs), Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and Solution Engineers (SEs), Service Delivery (SDs), and Partner Sales & Technical personas to understand our offerings and quickly become productive. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: * Strategize & Execute: Architect and implement a comprehensive onboarding strategy designed to accelerate the productivity of SDRs, AEs, SEs, SDs, and partner sellers. * Measure Impact: Oversee the measurement and reporting of all deliveries to track observed behaviors and program effectiveness. * Coordinate Training: Oversee the Field’s monthly in-person Boot Camps held at our Menlo Park office, and virtual onboarding training sessions. * Content Excellence: Maintain and evolve the onboarding content and curriculum, ensuring it covers our sales process, product offerings, and operational processes, across segments and regions. * Collaborate & Support: Assist in developing and presenting training content for internal events like our Sales Kick-Off (SKO), as needed. * Align with Goals: Partner closely with the enablement and leadership teams to refine onboarding strategies that aligns with business objectives. * Seamless Transition: Collaborate with the Field and Partner Enablement teams to ensure a smooth and continuous learning journey for our field and partners from onboarding to ongoing development. * Consult Globally: Serve as a consulting partner to the global leaders and deliver programming to all field segments. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM ON DAY ONE: * Work Location: You must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, and be willing to work from a local office at least three days per week. * Experience Matters: A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience, or background in Sales/Pre-Sales/Implementation, with a strong focus on onboarding within the enterprise software space. * Learning Design: Experience in learning design (e.g. Bloom taxonomy) and measurement (e.g. Kirkpatrick framework), enablement tooling (Learning management, content management, and Articulate/Synthesia/RISE), gamification, and program management across multiple stakeholders. * Agile: Experience working in a fast-changing environment that requires strategic thinking, resourcefulness, agility, results-oriented decision-making, and commitment to excellence. * Technical Acumen: A technical background, particularly within the data industry, is highly preferred. * Snowflake Knowledge: Direct experience with Snowflake is a significant plus. * Education: A Bachelor's degree. An MBA or advanced degree in Education is a plus. * Design & Delivery: Proven experience in designing and building both on-demand and in-person training content. * Stakeholder Management: The ability to secure executive sponsorship and gain support from diverse internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to successfully deliver programs. * Agile: Experience working in a fast-changing environment that requires strategic thinking, resourcefulness, agility, results-oriented decision-making, and commitment to excellence. * Business Savvy: Unmatched organizational, communication, and presentation skills. All the projects above allow the data scientist to work on very large datasets, and a variety of diverse interesting projects that span the domains of data engineering, analytics, statistics, and machine learning. In this role, you will both lead a team, and be hands-on as a tech lead in this area. The manager will interact frequently with senior management, product managers, and engineering managers. The ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas to a wide audience is crucial.
