This role requires a driven individual who can achieve and exceed targets while supporting our Global Mid Market Sales function. Based in our Cairo office on a hybrid basis (in-office a few days per week), you will play a crucial role in generating quality pipeline that converts to revenue. As Figma continues to grow its enterprise presence in Japan, we’re looking for a Snr Manager, Customer Experience & Solutions to lead our organization in-region. This leader will oversee Solutions Consulting, Customer Onboarding, Customer Enablement, and Technical Account Management—owning the end-to-end technical and value experience for Figma’s customers, from pre-sales through long-term adoption and success. This is a senior, customer-facing leadership role that blends deep technical credibility, close sales partnership, and post-sales excellence. The ideal candidate brings a strong pre-sales background, paired with experience leading post-sales teams and scaling customer-facing functions in high-growth SaaS environments. This role is based in Japan and requires business-level Japanese and English proficiency. WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FIGMA: * Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team across Solutions Consulting, Onboarding, Enablement, and Technical Account Management — cultivating a culture of customer-centricity and operational excellence * Partner with Japan Sales leadership to align on pipeline, deal strategy, and the motions that connect technical value to revenue * Execute the end-to-end customer journey from pre-sales solutioning through onboarding, adoption, and renewal, building the milestones and frameworks that support value realization * Help define how Figma delivers and measures value for our customers, including success planning, executive engagement, and account health programs * Serve as an executive sponsor for Figma's most strategic customer relationships in Japan, engaging at the C-suite and VP level to unblock challenges and support growth * Bring the voice of Japan's customers into Figma's global product and go-to-market strategy, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and GTM leadership * Track the KPIs that connect team activity to business outcomes and use them to drive continuous improvement WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE: * 10+ years in customer-facing technical sales roles within SaaS * 6+ years leading Solutions Consulting or Sales Engineering teams * A track record of building and scaling customer-facing teams, from hiring to developing the playbooks that drive consistent outcomes * Demonstrated success partnering with regional Sales leadership on GTM strategy, iterating based on data and insights * Business-level English proficiency WHILE NOT REQUIRED, IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE: * Experience building and leading post-sales teams * Experience with MEDDICC sales qualification framework * Prior experience managing managers * Prior Figma, design or development experience At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. The team are responsible for checking and tracking the compliance to these regulations of all the ingredients, materials and formulations sourced and manufactured by THG Labs. As well as managing and monitoring various certifications including audits, as well as processing and managing complaints and testing of products. Why be a Technical Information Officer at THG Labs? Reporting to Snr Compliance Officer, the Technical Information Officer is responsible for assisting the team in accurate data collection, reporting, maintenance and researching compliance of raw materials and finished cosmetic products. They will provide support to all members of the Regulatory Compliance Team to facilitate the delivery of projects assigned, ensuring products are safe, legal and sustainable. As a Technical Information Officer you will: * Collection of data relating to raw materials and finished goods to support the Regulatory Compliance team in the requirements for full compliance to all countries and regions as well as certifications as needed by the business and clients. * Ensuring accurate management of data in systems required for development and maintenance of cosmetic regulatory documentation. THE OPPORTUNITY This is a unique opportunity for a senior data scientist to work on DNA sequence modelling, statistical machine learning, and functional genomics in support of target discovery and mechanism elucidation. You will develop and apply computational models that connect genetic variation and regulatory DNA sequence to downstream molecular phenotypes, cellular programmes, and disease biology. Embedded within the Rosalind team you will build and evaluate models that link sequence to function - including variant effect prediction,regulatory activity modelling and representation learning for genomic data. DAY TO DAY YOU WILL: * Develop and implement machine learning models for DNA sequence, regulatory elements, and genetic variation in disease-relevant contexts. * Build, evaluate and benchmark models for sequence-to-function tasks such as variant effect prediction, regulatory activity prediction, and the interpretation of non-coding disease signals. * Integrate sequence-derived representations with transcriptomic, epigenomic, and perturbational datasets to uncover disease mechanisms and support target prioritisation. * Partner closely with experimental and machine learning researchers to validate hypotheses, interpret results, and guide downstream studies. * Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders, including presenting methods, results, and recommendations. * Contribute to publications, scientific communications, and project documentation, supporting scientific excellence and external visibility. PROFESSIONALLY, YOU WILL HAVE * PhD in computational biology, machine learning, statistics, genomics, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative discipline. * Post-PhD experience, ideally including time in an industry, biotech, or pharmaceutical environment. * Experience with DNA language models, genomic foundation models, or transformer-based sequence models. * Understanding of statistical machine learning and probabilistic modelling, with experience selecting and evaluating appropriate modelling approaches for complex biological datasets. * Knowledge of statistical genetics methods (e.g fine-mapping, colocalisation,, or variant to gene approaches). * High proficiency in Python (preferred) and R, with experience working in high-performance computing environments. * Ability to operate independently, driving projects from concept through delivery. * Bonus experience: * Familiarity with single-cell transcriptomics or patient-derived datasets. * Experience working in interdisciplinary teams within biotech or pharma settings. * Experience integrating machine learning models with genomics, single-cell, or perturbation datasets. * Familiarity with 3D genome / chromatin interaction data where relevant (Hi-C, Capture-C, etc.).
