We're looking for a Finance and Strategy Analyst to join our growing teams on the Go-to-Market (GTM) and Partnerships teams.
You'll help us with the forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for various departments accurately and in a timely manner and
deliver improvements in our integrated financial systems with business partners, financial colleagues, and engineers.

As a Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst, this role supports venture fund initiatives through financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and planning and reporting processes. The position works closely with senior leaders to deliver data-driven insights that inform capital allocation and strategic priorities. Responsibilities span both structured financial reporting and flexible analysis across business areas. The role also contributes to improving financial processes through standardization and automation, along with advancing AI-driven workflow improvements! We own the company’s financial roadmap, from the annual operating plan and rolling forecasts to the in-depth business reviews that ensure we drive efficiency and make informed trade offs As a Senior Financial Analyst on the FP&A team, you'll serve as the financial partner to Consumer leadership, owning the analysis and planning that guides how we allocate resources and drive efficiency across one of Coinbase's largest business lines. The FP&A team owns the company's financial roadmap, from the annual operating plan and rolling forecasts to the business reviews that power strategic trade-offs, and your work will directly shape how Consumer scales. What you'll do: * Own end-to-end forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial deliverables for Consumer OpEx, ensuring precision and on-time delivery across all planning cycles. * Build and maintain driver-based financial models that quantify risks, opportunities, and scenario outcomes for Consumer leadership. * Drive monthly variance analysis and month-end close for your areas, partnering with Accounting to maintain data integrity across all financial reporting. * Partner with Consumer Product, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional leads to translate financial insights into actionable resource allocation recommendations. * Lead the preparation and presentation of financial analyses during business reviews, converting complex data into clear strategic recommendations. * Execute proactive deep-dive analyses to surface trends, anomalies, and efficiency opportunities across Consumer operational spend. Required Skills and Experience: * 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance with direct ownership of OpEx planning (headcount, marketing spend, product operations, or similar categories). * Track record managing operating large expense budgets, delivering forecasts, and producing variance analysis that informed executive decisions. * Demonstrated experience building driver-based financial models and scenario analyses in Excel, with proficiency in SQL for data analysis and at least one planning tool (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite). * History of partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, or Design teams to align financial plans with business priorities and influence resource allocation. * Experience in a high-growth tech, fintech, or financial services environment with comfort operating across multiple concurrent workstreams. * Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
