Merchant Fraud Analyst With our team growing rapidly, we are looking for an ambitious Merchant Fraud Analyst to join us. As part of the, relatively new, Merchant Fraud team in Chicago you will be working closely with Risk, Product, and other Merchant Operations teams. Within this role you are responsible for identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities related to our acquiring and embedded financial services. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the integrity of our platform and ensuring a secure and trustworthy environment for our users. The Merchant Fraud Team is responsible for detecting and mitigating fraudulent activity that scalably reduces risk for Adyen and its customers. What you’ll do * As part of our growing Merchant Fraud team in Chicago you are pro-active and hands-on in improving our fraud operations processes * Monitor and investigate transaction patterns, account activities, and user behavior patterns to detect and mitigate fraudulent activities in real-time * Assist in the development and optimization of fraud detection systems and tools, suggesting improvements and enhancements as needed * Develop and optimize policies and procedures for fraud incident response, root cause analysis, funds recovery and communication protocols * Stay up-to-date with the latest fraud trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously enhance fraud detection and prevention methods Who you are * 1-3 years of experience in fraud at a financial institution – experience in an issuing bank, PSP, or other fintech platform is a plus * Knowledge of the payments ecosystem, issuing and acquiring, and the fraud types impacting mainly issuers (e.g., chargeback fraud, scams, account takeover) * Highly analytical and data-apt; proficient in using data to identify emerging trends, drive investigations, and suggest improvements to fraud operations policies and tooling * Experience with fraud prevention, fraud detection, fraud investigations and fraud remediation in the banking sector * Willingness to make difficult decisions and quickly learn and iterate from these experiences - you are skilled at using data to drive decisions * You are able to work both on your own and with others, taking ownership where your knowledge is needed. At the same time you are a strong collaborator who is comfortable with connecting with colleagues globally across different teams and cultures, sharing ideas to improve efficient teamwork The base salary for this role in Chicago will range from: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00. WHAT YOU’LL DO Stripe's Global Business Services' Commercial Solutions team is looking for a Commercial Solutions Program Manager to own the end-to-end programmatic development of commercial and GBS launch readiness programs that drive revenue for Stripe. Programs have a large scope and impact in nature, including owning the development and support of first-of-its-kind commercialization efforts, ongoing program support (pre- to post-launch), custom deal support related to the program, ownership of related enablement and communications, as well as acting as a change agent across the business. You're responsible for the end-to-end management of commercial and GBS launch readiness programs, driving cross-organizational alignment through the delivery of related outputs. This role requires a background in program management and commercial program experience, change management, a strong understanding of private pricing frameworks (and pricing analysis), and experience scaling global, cross-organizational mechanisms. You have experience in program management ownership, custom pricing strategies, and a background in supporting selling motions. You have strong communication skills and executive presence to effectively communicate with Stripe senior leadership. You'll love this role if you're a natural relationship and mechanism builder. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * 7+ years of program management, business operations, or management consulting experience, preferably in a GTM or Sales Operations organization * Demonstrated organizational, project management, and execution skills with ability to own cross-functional projects * An ability to drive sales territory planning and align strategies across all segments to ensure seamless execution * Strong track record as a strategic problem solver and skilled operator with the demonstrated ability to successfully deploy new initiatives end to end * A high degree of comfort working in a high-growth and fast-paced environment * An ability to seamlessly transition from the high level to very detailed work, and a hands-on approach * A detail-oriented individual with business acumen, and the ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the organization PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems * Data analytics (Google Sheets or Excel data manipulation, SQL)
