You can read more about the company mission & values here. 💡 ROLE DESCRIPTION As one of our first engineering hires, you'll have the unique opportunity to: * Ship quickly * Design and build new modes of working with computers * Work on groundbreaking projects involving LLMs * Collaborate closely with our external partners to fuel our growth * Contribute to product decisions, direction and prioritization * Shape our engineering culture 🔧 SAMPLE SET OF PROJECTS * Build new frontier products at Junior to ingest more types of research inputs * Build a voice-to-voice survey tool with extremely low latency that can autonomously conduct high volume of research tasks * Build a mobile app from scratch in 3 weeks * Create segmented knowledge graphs built on top of the output of unstructured ⇒ structured data transformations * Build an AI native CRM system with deep links to the knowledge graph above 🔥 ABOUT YOU We’re looking for product-minded full-stack engineers who: * Are based in NYC and excited to work in person with the team * Love shipping quickly and taking ownership end-to-end * Are eager to contribute to product decisions, not just execute tickets * Have strong communication skills and enjoy working close to customers * Are proficient in our tech stack: Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL * Are excited about building AI-powered products from the ground up * Feel like they are never building fast enough Bonus points for experience with: * LLM-powered products * Retrieval, embeddings, or prompt orchestration * Knowledge graphs or structured data extraction * Fast-moving startup environments 🌵 BENEFITS All the usual benefits (competitive pay and equity, private healthcare etc). There’s lots of data to improve on and build. 🔧 SAMPLE SET OF PROJECTS * Build a search ranking algorithm across open text, integrating signals from user interactions (e.g., edits, copies, and engagement metrics) alongside semantic and PostgreSQL-based text search to improve relevance and ranking across multiple features. * Build your coworker: build an in-house prompt system that can use production signals or human labels to constantly and iteratively refine and improve prompts and output * Build and open source a benchmark for evaluating LLM output on investment research specific tasks * Build an agentic entity deduping system that uses signals from within the app and valuable external data sources / google to clean up the last mile of great STT output: entity resolution * Build a knowledge graph custom to every research sprint that begins as highly unstructured interview data and leverages agentic infrastructure to pull in data where necessary and constantly rebalance the graph and the derived output. 🔥 ABOUT YOU We're looking for product-minded ML engineers who: * Based in NYC * Are opinionated about their work and eager to contribute to product decisions * Have strong communication skills and a desire for a client-facing role * Are able to break down AI/ML problems for a non-technical audience clearly and succinctly, and translate their suggestions into testable experiments. * Have experience building LLM systems from the ground up in a product-focused organization, and can help drive everything from data gathering / logging → prompt optimizing * Have a strong bias to action, highly organised and experienced working with senior stakeholders to deliver large projects end to end * Excited to build a team 🌵 BENEFITS All the usual benefits (competitive pay and equity, private healthcare etc). ROLE DESCRIPTION Customer success is critical to our business. We will only ever hire people who have done the job. You should deeply empathise with the pressures faced by consultants and investors doing DD work, and how Junior can support them to deliver faster and with greater impact. We’re looking for candidates who can ‘walk the walk and talk the talk’. We are serving the largest logos in the industry and we need your help to drive adoption, satisfaction and retention with our users. You will manage global deployments of 1000s of users. You will act as the Voice of the Customer, interfacing between our users and product team to make sure we are laser-focussed on eliminating the worst parts of our customers’ work.
