As a Procurement Excellence Manager in the Procurement Team within the Operations Department, you’ll play a crucial role in
bringing our company spend under one channel. You will define processes and procedures that support spend oversight for the entire
company while streamlining the procurement process. You will work closely with Finance to support evaluating potential ERP
Suppliers with an eye on the E2E impact of a manufacturing footprint. You will support spend and ESG analytics, Supplier
optimization and tenders when appropriate for both indirect services and direct materials. Your work will be essential as we scale
to increasingly complex systems and deliver on the promise of quantum computing.

YOUR MISSION Join our propulsion team and contribute to the development and integration of our innovative electric propulsion system. As a Mandatory Intern Propulsion System Integration (all genders), you’ll play a key role in shaping our next-generation electric propulsion architecture and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-tech environment. Our core expertise lies in 3D vision and graphics technologies which we deploy in a dual-use context for inspection and defence. This role will focus mainly on defence context where we are developing on-board UAV situational-awareness software, with some involvement in industrial 3D visualization for aerospace sector. Our defence solutions are aimed to operate with low-cost and widely available sensors and compute. From there, we plan to develop a line-up of interconnected solutions to safeguard European safety. Our team consists of engineers that are passionate about the technology and solutions they develop. The only time most of us are not thinking about the technology is when we are asleep, and sometimes even then. Our team members have a background in different fields such as Aerospace Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering, Robotics and Computer Graphics. YOUR ROLE As Technical Project Manager, you will help strengthen how Fiducial plans, governs, and delivers technical projects across the company. You will work across a varied portfolio that includes new product development, product roadmap implementation, customer demonstrations, customer deployments, system integrations, R&D programmes, internal capability development, and external partnerships. Depending on the needs of the organisation, you may take full ownership of a project, or provide delivery structure and governance across several related initiatives. Your role combines hands-on project delivery with the continued development of our technical delivery capability. You will help refine our existing project delivery framework, improve our project governance model, run the Project Review Board, and contribute to building a pool of Technical Project Managers and project support professionals as the company grows. You will work closely with engineering, product, operations, commercial teams, leadership, customers, and external integration partners. You will also work in support of our Technical Program Manager, who oversees the wider customer project portfolio. You will report directly to the COO. COORDINATE HARDWARE AND OPERATIONAL DEPENDENCIES * Coordinate procurement, delivery schedules, availability, and setup of hardware needed for development, testing, demonstrations, and deployments. * Align equipment, logistics, test locations, personnel, and external dependencies with project timelines. * Ensure operational requirements are identified early enough to avoid preventable delivery delays. This is a hands-on project-management role with real ownership. It is not a Scrum Master role, and you will not simply administer a process or follow a predefined playbook. You will actively deliver projects, improve how we work, and help build the systems required to support Fiducial’s next stage of growth. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU * Professional experience managing technical projects involving software, hardware, engineering, system integration, or technical deployment. * A completed technical degree, such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, Systems Engineering, or another relevant discipline. * Experience developing project plans, milestones, dependencies, risk assessments, delivery forecasts, and stakeholder updates. * Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and external stakeholders. * Sufficient technical understanding to discuss system development, prototypes, interfaces, integration, testing, validation, and deployment with engineers. * Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage several projects and changing priorities simultaneously. * A proactive and assertive working style. QuantWare is building a next-generation 200 mm (8-inch) quantum device fabrication facility ("Kilofab") and assembly facility to enable industrial-scale manufacturing of superconducting quantum processors. We are seeking a Fab Automation & Manufacturing Systems Manager to establish and lead the factory automation and manufacturing systems function. This role defines how manufacturing equipment, metrology systems, test platforms, and factory software systems are integrated to support efficient, traceable, and data-driven manufacturing operations. The role combines technical leadership, project execution, vendor management, and team development. What you'll be doing Fab Automation & Manufacturing Systems * Define and maintain the fab automation roadmap. * Develop the overall architecture for equipment connectivity and manufacturing data collection. * Ensure manufacturing systems support traceability, production control, process monitoring, and operational reporting. * Work closely with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities, IT, and Equipment Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of automation solutions. Equipment Integration * Lead integration of process, metrology, and test equipment into the manufacturing environment. * Define equipment automation requirements during tool selection and procurement. * Establish and maintain equipment communication standards using SECS/GEM, and vendor-specific interfaces/APIs. * Ensure collection of equipment status, process data, alarms, events, and metrology/test results. Manufacturing Execution System (MES) * Support the selection, implementation, and operation of the MES platform. * Define MES workflows and business requirements. * Ensure integration between MES and manufacturing equipment. * Support implementation of lot tracking, genealogy, recipe management, dispatching, and production reporting. * Act as the primary business owner for MES within the fab. Manufacturing Data & Analytics * Define requirements for manufacturing data collection and storage (equipment, process, sensor, metrology, probe/test). * Support implementation of manufacturing databases, historians, and cloud-based data solutions with appropriate security and governance. * Work with internal teams and external partners to establish reporting and analytics capabilities. * Enable visibility into key manufacturing metrics (yield, throughput, cycle time, equipment utilization, production performance). Process Monitoring & Factory Control * Support implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Fault Detection & Classification (FDC) capabilities. * Collaborate with process engineering teams to improve process monitoring and excursion management. * Ensure manufacturing data availability to support yield improvement and continuous improvement initiatives. Team & Vendor Management * Build and lead the fab automation and manufacturing systems team. * Recruit and manage key resources (Automation Engineers, MES Application Specialists, Manufacturing Systems Engineers). * Manage relationships with software suppliers, equipment vendors, and system integration partners. * Coordinate automation-related projects from specification through deployment and commissioning.
