Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems. The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit 🐈⬛. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously! We're a diverse team of 250+ brilliant minds from over 35 countries united by a single goal: to revolutionise computing with a practical fault-tolerant quantum machine. Are you ready to take on unprecedented challenges and contribute to revolutionising technology? Join us, and let's shape the future of quantum computing together! To support the scale-up of its quantum hardware roadmap, Alice & Bob has built a dedicated cleanroom facility in the Ile-de-France region for the fabrication of superconducting quantum devices. This facility will significantly increase wafer fabrication capacity and accelerate process development, device iteration, and learning cycles. This position is part of the Foundries & Process Integration team within the Quantum Hardware & Infrastructure department. We are looking for a hands-on “Senior Superconducting Process Data & MES Integration Engineer M/F” to deploy, configure, operate, and continuously improve a commercial Manufacturing Execution System (MES) supporting our quantum chip fabrication, packaging, and characterization activities.
YOUR MISSION * Take full ownership of the end-to-end product design process, working on clearly defined problems in close collaboration with the Product Team — from ideation and prototype testing to ready-to-ship visual designs. * Collaborate with our existing Product Designer to evolve our design language and ensure a cohesive experience across both sides of the platform. * Work hand-in-hand with our product and engineering teams, identifying high-impact UX opportunities and delivering solutions that are technically feasible and ship fast. * Translate concepts into high-fidelity designs, adhering to and maintaining our scalable design system in Figma. * Craft clear, engaging UI copy to guide users through the product. YOUR PROFILE Must-have: * 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer in a well-known B2B SaaS company or high-growth SaaS startup. * Proven ability to design complex, desktop-first B2B web applications end-to-end — from problem framing to interaction design and handoff, ideally demonstrated in your portfolio. * Strong product thinking: Ability to find pragmatic “80/20” solutions that balance user value, technical constraints, and business goals. * Expert-level Figma skills and experience collaborating with other designers in shared workspaces, including component libraries and design systems. * Self-driven, outcome-oriented, able to work independently while communicating trade-offs and constraints clearly. * Native German speaker with fluent English. Nice-to-have: * Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (like Claude code, cursor etc) to build realistic, functional prototypes. * Foundational understanding of HTML/CSS to ship smaller improvements to the product or website yourself. * UX copywriting experience. WHY US * You'll shape a product that solves real-life problems in the construction industry and see the results of your work in the hands of real users. * You’ll work in an open-minded, collaborative, and international team where your ideas are valued. * Choose to work fully remote (within Germany) or from our modern office in Berlin Friedrichshain. * Regular company and team events (offline and online). * Competitive compensation, a permanent contract, and modern work equipment. * An open feedback culture with regular 1-on-1s to support your professional development.
