Web Summit Live Events Team is central to creating world-class attendee experience on a global scale. Designers, event
coordinators, producers, production managers, stage managers and many others work hand in hand to produce all elements from stages
to exhibitions through to live operations and attendee experience for our events round the world.
Title: Production Supervisor Salary Range: $24.00-26.50 Location: Seattle - Flagship Department: Production FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Production Assistant Manager Supervises: Production Associates About the Position The Production Supervisor oversees the day-to-day donation and production operations of the store to meet or exceed optimum level of merchandise production. Effectively supervises production employees so that daily production goals are met. Responsible to ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment. *Some duties are not required for the Seattle Store Production Supervisor as this location does not operate donations but supports other stores. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. * Ensure donations are processed in such a way to maximize sales and minimize waste. * * Conduct quality checks on merchandise before it is placed on the sales floor. * Ensure all donations are processed expediently from the donation door to the sales floor. * * Communicates needs with store management team to ensure production and sales goals will be met. * Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees. * Promote productivity by following up with employees on work results. * Resolve workplace employee concerns by addressing issues that impact employee performance and productivity. * Coordinates dock efforts assigning staff within production and transportation area. * Ensure Production Associates are stocked with supplies. * Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information. * Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments. * Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction. * Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; assist in safety training of employees; reports any potential hazards or accidents. * Consistent and safe execution of duties associated with forklift operation when certified to Evergreen Goodwill standards. * * Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Goodwill’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Why we're hiring: Purpose of the role The Assistant Manager, Purchase to Pay (PTP), is part of a team responsible for performing day to day tasks within the Purchase to Pay (PTP) function covering Accounts Payable, Expense and Payment, as well as Month End Closing process and some other specific accounting activities related to the stream. The Team Lead will be required to handle activities for any of the subfunctions within the PTP function as assigned by the PTP manager. Key responsibilities include accurate and timely recording and payment of vendor invoices, statutory payments, employees claim and intercompany transactions in accordance to the defined SLAs/KPIs while adhering to Company policies and procedures as well as relevant legal and statutory requirements. The Assistance Manager will work with management to drive the implementation of global process initiatives to streamline and/or automate the PTP process which includes system enhancement and process improvement. The Assistance Manager will assist Manager to lead PTP team, measure team members KPI, plan for team members back up and continueos arrange knowledge transfer or referesher to team members. What you'll be doing: Job Description: Invoicing and Payments: Ensuring quality in terms of accuracy and completeness on invoicing and payments transactions are processed. Ensuring invoicing and payments transactions are processed within agreed timelines in accordance with SLAs. Oversee month end PTP process to ensure timely completion of closing and reporting. Manage and monitor PTP process with proper controls and high attention to detail to ensure complete, accurate and timely payment processing to vendors, providing accurate and timely management information and reconciliations as required. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal/external stakeholders as and when necessary Organize and coordinate Service Review Meeting Continuous Improvements: Implement best practices and proactively identify, propose and implement continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team Leadership and People: Perform people management responsibilities, which include planning & assigning tasks, and team performance appraisal, coaching & development Others: Support and participate in transition of Operating Companies activities to WPP SSC MY.
