Zo kan de totale meerwaarde die Cheops aan haar klanten kan bieden ‘upgraden’. Je bent een expert in jouw domeinen en zorgt voor bijkomende ondersteuning van collega engineers voor die domeinen waarin je eigen expertise ontbreekt. Je beheert de planning, budgetten en andere middelen voor de projecten waarop je actief bent, en waarbij je zelf een rol hebt gespeeld bij het bepalen van de scope. Je weegt de beperkingen van budget, performantie, scope en timing steeds af in overleg met project managers en/of andere stakeholders.   JOUW TALENT Je plant met oog op het minimaliseren van de impact bij klanten en anticipeert op potentiële uitdagingen vanuit meerdere oplossingsmogelijkheden. We are looking for a System Administrator to join our infrastructure team and help build, maintain, and improve a reliable, scalable, and secure platform. This is a practical, engineering-focused role with direct involvement in day-to-day infrastructure operations. You will work closely with production systems, improve automation, and ensure stability and security across the environment. We place strong emphasis on building consistent, standardized, and maintainable infrastructure, avoiding ad-hoc solutions and ensuring systems are reliable and scalable. This role is available in these locations: Tallinn, Malmö, Malta or Helsinki. Key responsibilities Administer and maintain Linux-based infrastructure (Debian) Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible Manage and optimize databases (MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) Perform regular security patching and vulnerability remediation Participate in server sizing, capacity planning, and performance tuning and security monitoring Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues Work with containerized workloads using Docker Collaborate with other teams to improve infrastructure reliability, security and deployment processes Skills required Strong experience with Linux system administration (preferably Debian-based systems) Practical experience with configuration management (Ansible) Experience or familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) Experience with virtualization platforms, preferably Proxmox Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. OpenStack, Amazon Web Services) Experience managing relational databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, DNS) Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker) Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues independently Fluency in spoken and written English is critical for success in this role Years of experience: Minimum 3 years of experience Nice to have: Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB, Elastic Stack Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines) Scripting or programming skills (Bash, Python, or Go) Experience with ZFS (e.g. storage management, snapshots, replication) We will be extra excited if you have any of the following: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) AWS Certified Solutions Architect – associate Life at Relax Are you ready to join a creative, forward-thinking team shaping the future of iGaming? Vous travaillez en étroite collaboration avec les ingénieurs pour les problèmes plus complexes et vous mettez au défi les collègues de soutien en leur donnant un feed-back afin qu’ils se développent et apprennent pour les incidents qu’ils pourraient résoudre eux-mêmes. Vous garantissez des budgets supplémentaires en faisant comprendre aux parties concernées l’importance d’apporter des ajustements aux systèmes. Vous veillez à la performance des systèmes (également) pour les besoins futurs en planifiant et en organisant des extensions, des mises à niveau, des mises à jour proactives, etc. Votre talent Vous êtes un as pour établir des liens entre les défis. Votre communication ne se concentre pas sur l’incident, mais sur le défi qui se cache derrière l’incident.
