WE NEED YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: * 2–4 years of hands-on Atlassian administration (Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Atlassian Guard); * Solid experience with Jira Automation, including complex rules, smart values, branching, scheduling, and audit; * Working knowledge of JMWE (post-functions, validators, and conditions); * Practical development experience in Go or Python (REST clients, scripting, data processing); * Experience integrating Atlassian products with external systems via REST APIs (webhooks, OAuth, pagination, error handling); * Familiarity with Jira Assets (CMDB schemas, object lifecycle); * Understanding of the Atlassian security model: permissions, security levels, SSO/SCIM, and audit logs. Backend Software Engineer

We are a venture-backed company, and our platform is used by tens of thousands of developers worldwide in production.  We are currently looking for a backend software engineer to join our team of passionate, dedicated professionals. As a backend software engineer at Northflank, you will play a crucial role in building core technology and contributing to the platform's stability, performance, and product roadmap. This position is remote. As the product lead, you'll own direction across the full stack: storage and schema, production scale, developer integrations, and search quality. You'll be the connective tissue between engineering and the business, translating customer needs into requirements, sequencing work across teams, and making sure what ships lands well in market.
