Job Summary: The Maintenance Planner II is responsible for tracking and coordinating parts needed for maintenance utilizing the maintenance system and Oracle. Also functions as a receiver. Essential Functions of the Job: * Works with procurement to support facility buyer. * Working with maintenance staff on reconciling work orders with part numbers. * Administration and utilization / Receive in MVP * Stocks parts on shelves according to indexing system. * Records and maintains control of all spare parts inventory items purchased. * Reconciles the inventory. * Receives UPS and distributes packages, as necessary. * Sends out packages as necessary via UPS or USPS. * Receives incoming parts, supplies into the inventory, and distributes them, as necessary. * Secures supplies or parts as needed in the local area. * Completes weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventories / cycle counting. * Maintenance of all electronic records and ensures accuracy of system. * Accounts for new inventory in the system. * Ensures compliance with all established internal control procedures. * Follow company GMP’s (Good manufacturing practices) and all other quality programs. * Responsible for ensuring the work area is clean and organized. * Strictly adhering to all safety policies. * Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required. * Commitment to ensuring that the products produced meet all food safety and quality requirements. * All other duties, as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: * None. Minimum Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED. * Prior maintenance-related experience. * 2+ years' experience in purchasing/receiving parts in a manufacturing environment. * ERP experience. Preferred Qualifications: * Technical education. * Experience with Oracle. Knowledge and Skills: * MS Excel skills, plus a solid working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint. * Knowledge of business systems. * High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills. * Strong analytical skills. * Excellent communication skills. * The ability to work cross functionally with various internal departments, stakeholders and supplier partners is key. * Must be able to effectively manage information and communicate effectively internally and externally. * Must be able to effectively purchase 140+ unique materials. Additional Considerations: * This role will be at the SunOpta Plant in Omak, WA. * Shift: This is a day shift role, 6 am to 2:30 pm, M-F. * Pay Rate: $37.25 / hour. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Approximately 85% of work is performed in an office environment.15% of work may involve being in the agricultural or manufacturing/plant floor environment which is not climate controlled and may contain allergens. This Environmental Planner position is preferred to be affiliated with our Southfield or Allendale, MI office but can be a remote position based in the Midwest. Project work may include siting, routing, and permitting for utility-scale and distributed generation solar, battery energy storage system, land-based wind, and electric transmission projects primarily throughout the Midwest. Responsibilities: * Support Project Managers with the execution of renewable energy studies including critical issues analysis, due diligence support, research and interpret state, county and local ordinances and site planning approval process. * Coordinate with Project Managers, subject matter experts, field technicians, administrative staff and subconsultants to assemble and submit permit applications. * Facilitate project meetings and agency coordination. * Support with the development of material for agency meetings, public outreach, and stakeholder engagement. * Coordinate project schedules, project task tracking, and submittal deadlines. * Review reports and interpret impacts to project development. * Work on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as land use planning, natural resource management, environmental policy, or similar degree or equivalent. * 3-7+ years of demonstrated work experience performing similar tasks. * Prior environmental and renewable energy consulting experience strongly preferred. * Ability to research and interpret county and local zoning ordinances. * Experience preparing special land use and conditional use permits. * Experience with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process preferred. * Familiarity with USFWS Land Based Wind Energy Guidelines. * Knowledge of GIS Analysis and Methodologies. * Willingness to travel for limited project needs. * Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing. * Ability to effectively communicate with project teams, clients, and agencies.
