Kravprofil Arbetsuppgifter: • Omfattande teknisk kompetens inom elkonstruktion. I rollen kommer du att ta det fulla ansvaret för ditt arbetsområde samt för kundorderprojekt. • Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter innebär att du i leverans- och utvecklingsprojekt ansvarar för konstruktion och teknikfrågor angående olika typer av system som förekommer inom kraftverk, t.ex. ställverk, generatorer, reläskydd, kontrollutrustningar och batterianläggningar. • Framtagande av kostnadsunderlag, teknisk support mot säljsidan samt stöd mot eftermarknaden ingår också i dina arbetsuppgifter. Övrigt Profil: • Du är civil-, högskole- med några års arbetslivserfarenhet inom elkraft, elkonstruktion och/eller el- och hjälpkraftutrustning. • Du drivs och motiveras av att arbeta med avancerad teknik och vill utöka dina kunskaper och fördjupa din tekniska kompetens. • Du uttrycker dig väl i tal och skrift både på engelska och svenska. About the Role As Electrical Engineer at SeaPattern, you will be responsible for designing and integrating the electrical systems that power our turbine installations. The role includes everything from electrical architecture and cabinet design to testing, commissioning, and field support. You will take ownership of the electrical system throughout the development cycle — from early prototype stages to deployed operational systems — ensuring robust, compliant, and high-performing solutions. Your work will include: Designing electrical system architectures for turbine platforms Integrating OEM motor drives and grid-tied inverter systems Designing low-voltage three-phase electrical cabinets Producing wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation Supporting installation, commissioning, and testing activities on-site This is a role for someone who enjoys both detailed engineering work and being involved hands-on in the field. You will be part of a fast-moving engineering environment where collaboration and initiative are highly valued. On a typical project, you may be involved in selecting electrical components, creating cabinet layouts, troubleshooting systems during commissioning, or working alongside colleagues to improve system reliability and performance. Key responsibilities include: Developing robust and safe electrical system solutions Designing and commissioning electrical cabinets for low-voltage three-phase systems Ensuring compliance with applicable grid connection standards and regulations Supporting prototype development and field deployment activities Creating and maintaining wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, electrical schematics and technical documentation. Contributing to BOMs and manufacturing documentation Who We’re Looking For We believe you are an engineer who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical mindset. You are comfortable taking ownership, solving problems collaboratively, and adapting in a dynamic development environment. To succeed in this role, you likely have: A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field At least 5 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience Experience from industrial, marine, or renewable energy sectors You should have solid knowledge of motor drive systems, frequency inverters, and grid-connected electrical systems, along with experience designing and commissioning electrical cabinets. You are confident in creating clear electrical schematics and technical documentation and communicate professionally and fluently in English. Your mission Develops and supports electrical designs for harnesses, firmware, and test systems, considering cost, mass, integration, and manufacturability. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and specialists to ensure alignment of electrical designs with system and project requirements. Applies core electrical engineering knowledge, including EMC, harness routing, mechanical integration, and space application standards, using CAD tools for design and component selection. Defines, performs, and supports electrical testing and validation activities, including test hardware design, drawing reviews, and requirement traceability. Translates system requirements into electrical subsystem specifications and prepares compliance matrices and verification documentation. Participates in technical reviews, supplier interactions, and audits, contributing to design validation and compliance assessments. Supports production and quality processes, including non-conformance resolution, root cause analysis, First Article Inspection (FAI), and operator guidance. Maintains and communicates technical documentation and project status, ensuring traceability and clear reporting to stakeholders. Contributes to requirement management, risk identification, task tracking, and budget awareness, escalating issues as needed. Applies structured problem-solving and critical thinking to make informed technical decisions balancing performance, cost, and schedule. Supports bidding, proposals, and engineering change processes (ECP/CCN), while contributing to product development, continuous improvement, and team knowledge sharing. Your story Must’s: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Aerospace, electrical or other engineering, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in aerospace or equivalent industry. Proven experience in electrical design and Harness/Routing. Experience in Altium Designer and/or other PCB layout generation tools (for circuit design, PCB design). Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks. Nice to have’s: Experience in the space industry, with electrical componentes. Experience with microelectronics, programming of microprocessors and in Labview. Familiarity with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.
