Location: Gdańsk - Candidates must be local due to hybrid working policy   ABOUT THE JOB Own the Kubernetes experience for new AI accelerator hardware at Graphcore. As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer, you will help bring new AI accelerator hardware into cloud native environments. You will build software that makes advanced compute accessible through Kubernetes. Your work will shape how users deploy, manage and scale workloads on Graphcore systems. You will turn complex hardware integration into a reliable, native Kubernetes experience. You will design and develop Go applications, integrate hardware with existing clusters, and solve deep technical problems across software and infrastructure. You will also review code, write documentation and contribute to strong engineering practice. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership at the intersection of AI compute, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure. As a Staff Cloud Software Engineer, you will build Go services that connect accelerator hardware with Kubernetes. You will own software components that turn complex compute capability into a usable platform experience. Your work will shape how AI workloads discover, access and scale across cluster infrastructure. That means designing production services where reliability, performance and observability are part of the architecture. You will build CRDs, operators and Kubernetes components for ML and platform teams. You will partner with hardware, cloud and ML engineers on design choices and roadmap priorities. This is a senior IC role with room to set direction. You will mentor engineers, raise code quality and help define how Graphcore delivers cloud-native AI compute. THE TEAM AND CULTURE The Workload Management team sits between Kubernetes, cloud platforms and accelerator hardware. Work moves from architecture to implementation, review and production readiness without losing system context. The team that is responsible for the ingestion of Twilio’s Web Console and API traffic, and its supporting services. Desired: * Experience implementing security-at-scale, including WAF management, DDoS mitigation, and Zero Trust architectures. * Platform Engineering previous experience, passion for building "Internal Developer Platforms" that abstract infrastructure complexity for product teams. * A proven track record of contributing to the cloud-native or networking ecosystem, also has contributions to public Terraform providers or similar open-source initiatives Location This role will be remote, and based in Spain.
