We enable anyone to be an investor. Our mission is to grow investing opportunities for all European customers and businesses. By
empowering FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products, we help create financial well-being for their
customers.
lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API-first
infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well-documented API, a self-service customer operations portal, and a clear
regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer-centric, compliant products in weeks, not months.
As part of the dwpbank Group, we share a clear goal: we enable anyone to be an investor by making investing in capital markets
more accessible. By combining dwpbank’s long-standing expertise and stability with lemon.markets’ technology-first mindset and
speed, we are building a modern, modular securities services ecosystem. Together, we offer faster time-to-market, modular
services, and a modern customer experience that helps financial service providers stay competitive and respond more flexibly in a
changing market.
As our Banking Operations Specialist, you’ll own the daily “money movement” engine end to end and help us build the function from
the ground up. You’ll run payment cycles, reconcile bank activity every day, and ensure every bank transaction lands correctly in
the ledger using clean double-entry logic.
When something doesn’t match, you’ll bring calm structure: investigate quickly, document what you did and why, resolve the root
cause, and put guardrails in place so the same issue is less likely to happen again. You’ll also partner closely with Product and
Engineering to improve tooling and automation, so the operation becomes more reliable, easier to run, and progressively less
manual.
As the company grows, this role is designed to expand in scope. If we build a larger operations team over time, you’ll have the
opportunity to step into leadership responsibilities, shaping processes, hiring/training new team members, and setting the
operational standard for how banking ops runs at scale.

By empowering FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products, we help create financial well-being for their customers. lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API-first infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well-documented API, a self-service customer operations portal, and a clear regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer-centric, compliant products in weeks, not months. As part of the dwpbank group, we’re adding a layer of resources and expertise to benefit from, while continuing to operate as an independent fintech with our own team, product, and start-up identity under the dwpbank umbrella. You will focus on areas of the Customer Lifecycle, Investing or Banking processes - making sure our Core Platform & Systems around it are reliable & scalable. Our Tech Stack is Python, FastAPI, AWS and Postgres. While you can have worked in different modern tech stacks prior, you should be excited to work in Python and learn it if you haven’t worked with it before. You will have a significant impact on the development of our core Platform & Systems - and thereby architectural decisions, as well as on the business itself. Work alongside a cross-functional team of experts, and together we will leverage your previous experiences to build the investment infrastructure for the next 100 million retail investors in Europe. ABOUT YOU: * You have the ability to write well-structured and tested code in more than one high-level programming languages like Python, Golang, Java or Ruby, plus another language such as Javascript or Typescript. * You have experience in designing and implementing highly scalable architecture and reliable REST APIs and bring the desire to make them world-class. * You’ve gained good experience with software in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure) and the architectural patterns for this environment. * You have a good understanding of more than one document-based or relational database technology such as MySQL/PostgreSQL or MongoDB * You know how to write high-quality code that is understandable, maintainable and well tested, and can guide other engineers to do the same via code reviews. * You have good problem-solving skills and the ability to provide in-depth evaluations and analyses of unique and complex technological issues. * You have a track record of designing, building and operating reliable and scalable backend systems as part of a cross-functional team. YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF: * Growing investment opportunities excites you. That means, you are excited by solving customer problems and strive to become an expert in the domain area you are working in. * You enjoy building from scratch. This means high involvement in the product development process itself while advocating for the best engineering practices. You always thrive for high quality outcomes through focus, determination and attention to detail. * You are a team player. Working together as a team, sharing knowledge & providing mentorship comes naturally to you. Long term - you consider becoming a team lead. * You have no problem with learning new technologies on the go. You try to solve problems with more things than the ones you already know. We will always enable you with that, but your willingness has to come first. * You understand what working in a startup or a similar lean organisation is like. You are able to work with a small team in a lean environment, can move quickly and focus on what's truly important. * You see yourself reflected in the skills above, or you see yourself growing into this path. Together, we offer faster time-to-market, modular services, and a modern customer experience that helps financial service providers stay competitive and respond more flexibly in a changing market. YOUR MISSION As our Launch Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of our partner onboarding, from kick-off through go-live and post-launch activities, turning complex, regulated brokerage integrations into predictable, high-quality launches. Our partner universe is evolving: alongside our direct business with fintechs and neobanks, we’re building a combined offering with dwpbank, bringing a new wave of partners and increased cross-organization complexity. We’re therefore building a dedicated Launch Manager function to run these onboardings with clear ownership. In this setup, you’ll provide the coordination we’re building, driving the launch plan, steering stakeholders, and ensuring a clean handover to Partner Management once the partner is live. You’ll sit at the center of cross-functional execution, aligning Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Operations, and second-line functions (and, where relevant, dwpbank) to keep delivery on time, within scope, and operationally sound. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: * Lead end-to-end partner launches by owning the onboarding plan, milestones, and delivery rhythm across Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Operations, and second-line functions — so partners go live faster and with fewer surprises. * Drive alignment and decision-making between partnership leads, product counterparts, and executive sponsors — so scope, priorities, and trade-offs are clear and execution stays on track. * Run cross-functional workstreams (e.g., API integration readiness, ops/process setup, compliance & controls, partner enablement) to reduce delivery risk and ensure high-quality outcomes in a regulated environment. * Design and continuously improve an onboarding playbook (templates, checklists, risk log, status reporting, launch criteria) to standardize onboarding and scale partner delivery without scaling chaos. * Own stakeholder communication and reporting to leadership, internal steering committees, and partner counterparts — so progress, risks, and dependencies are transparent and manageable. * Manage complex/time-sensitive post-launch activities (feature expansions, new functionalities, operational changes) so existing partners can grow their offering without destabilizing day-to-day operations. YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF: * You bring 5+ years of experience in launch management or project/program management within brokerage, fintech, or banking environments. * You have a deep understanding of B2B onboarding, including how to structure plans, manage dependencies, and steer stakeholders through complex delivery. * You bring strong financial services domain expertise (brokerage knowledge is a plus) and can translate regulatory/operational constraints into actionable delivery plans. * You have led complex cross-functional teams across business, product, engineering, and second-line functions, driving outcomes without formal authority. * You are comfortable mixing methods (waterfall, agile, hybrid) and pragmatically using tools like onboarding plans, risk logs, and reporting to get the job done. * You thrive in ambiguity and complexity, take ownership end-to-end, and can zoom out for the plan while still digging into the messy details needed to execute. * Communicate exceptionally well in English and German (C1+) building trust quickly, leading tough conversations calmly, and keeping momentum across senior internal and external stakeholders. HOW WE TAKE CARE OF YOU: * 🚀 Compensation package: We offer you a competitive salary, based on your experience and the value-add you bring to lemon.markets. * 🕑 Flexible working hours: We trust people to choose when they work best and avoid a rigid 9 to 5 mindset.
