About us The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, a joint department of Chalmers and the University of Gothenburg, spans the breadth of computing disciplines. At the division of Computer and Network Systems, we design secure, dependable and high-performance computer and communication systems that meet the demands of an increasingly digital and interconnected world. About the research project The European research project DARE aims at making Europe self sufficient in developing computer technology for high performance computing and AI. We contribute in particular to the on-chip memory system including coherent caches and network on chip technologies. Who we are looking for The following requirements are mandatory: A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in Computer Architecture or similar areas. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience with cycle-level architectural simulation.
You are expected to be somewhat accustomed to teaching, and to demonstrate good potential within research and education. The following experience will strengthen your application: A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline Industrial experience in developing computer systems.

Contract terms The position is a temporary full-time employment for two years with the possibility of a one-year extension. The position requires physical presence throughout the entire employment.
