We are looking for a Verification Engineer. This is a 6-month role for a pilot project use case. There is potential for additional requirements or a contract extension depending on the project´s needs. Job Description: As a Verification Engineer, you act as a test drive for a moderately complex project and deliver outcomes with minimal assistance. You develop the overall testing strategy across multiple programs, including designs for testability reviews. You address commonly escalated issues by identifying and recommending creative ways to improve on solutions, via the selection of better methods and tools. You contribute to cross-team collaboration by participating with teams in conducting tests, testbed debugging, experiments, and getting appropriate results. You possess working knowledge of design verification tools and techniques and ongoing consistency in more than one discipline related to hardware test, qualification, and manufacturing. Responsibilities include: Evolve test methodologies, and develop new tools and workflows to improve product quality, testing efficiency, and validation processes across teams, based on comprehensive knowledge of technology trends and industry state of the art. Drive effective testing and product improvement in accordance with software test plans and procedures by reviewing, implementing, and sharing information on critical tests. Drive procedures to demonstrate product compliance and manage evaluation of test equipment required to verify product performance during qualification tests. Drive audits of validation or performance qualification processes to ensure compliance with internal or regulatory requirements. Conduct test plans and reviews with engineers and other stakeholders, within one or more teams, to gather feedback. Contribute to design reviews for testability by conducting experiments. Identify and select test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, testers, microscope, chambers, analyzers, generators, optical debug tools) with minimal supervision. Report bugs during verification and recommend corrective action, where needed, with external suppliers or internal development teams. Develop multi-faceted verification or validation strategies and plans that include advanced design verification and software and full system testing. Ensure complete documentation of test or verification results and test methodologies are in compliance with internal or external requirements. Identify and select new servers, storage devices, and specialized machine learning hardware for our data centers.
Day to Day- Roles and Responsibilities: Set up and maintain electronics racks: This includes installing and wiring electrical equipment such as RF signal analyzer, current and voltage sources, etc. Assemble and wire cryogenic systems: Assist with the installation of cryogenic components and cable assemblies into cryogenic systems. Maintain lab infrastructure: Perform routine maintenance on critical cryogenic infrastructure and other lab tools. Lightweight software tasks: Contribute to lightweight software development for the control and maintenance of various pieces of lab equipment.
