We are looking for a Graduate Surveyor to join our Remote Operations Centre (ROC) in Haugesund, Norway, supporting offshore survey and subsea operations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates (and experienced professionals), offering real career progression opportunities within an industry leading, forward-looking subsea services provider. You will develop technical expertise while working alongside experienced surveyors and offshore professionals. You will progress through a structured graduate development program, receiving training and mentorship as you develop your knowledgebase and capabilities as a hydrographic survey professional. The aim of this unique graduate program is to develop a new kind of highly versatile remote surveyor, who will have a broader knowledge and skill base than is currently common for offshore survey roles. This will set these remote survey graduates apart, providing the core competencies and technical expertise, enabling them to be cross utilised across different shore-based hydrographic survey roles. Based in our ROC in Haugesund, you will work as part of a dynamic team, supporting live subsea operations. This is a novel opportunity providing a grounding in all aspects of typical ROV based subsea survey and inspection campaigns. It provides the opportunity to become part of the future for offshore survey. We are looking for highly motivated, engaged candidates, keen to contribute to our new digitally intensive, future focused, remote first way of working. This would need you to be a good communicator in complex settings. * Thai native with fluent in English communication * 2+ years in a business analyst (in-house, consultant) role, project management in the software development industry or something similar. Working as part of a six-person data visualisation team, you will collaborate closely with reporters and editors across both publications while reporting to the Managing Editor of Data Visualization. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable developing ambitious long-term investigative and analytical projects as well as delivering shorter-turnaround stories that respond to emerging industry trends and news events. The upper end of the scale reflects pay of someone who comes in at the senior reporter level, with confirmed experience and strong work to show. Earlier career candidates will be considered for reporter-level roles. To ensure pay fairness, the successful candidate will be offered a salary within the estimated salary range based on a number of considerations including but not limited to: skills; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organisational needs. The disclosed range estimate is for our NYC office and has not been adjusted for other locations. This role is part of the FT Specialist US Guild and covered under a collective bargaining agreement with the Writers’ Guild of America East.
