organization. Operating within a small, lean group, this role is highly visible to engineering leadership and offers the

Your success will be defined by your ability to build deep, trusted partnerships with engineering teams and align them with modern
quality standards. You will act as a coach and catalyst - pairing with teams to uplift their practices, leveraging AI for
high-velocity delivery, and ensuring quality is seamlessly integrated into how we scale.
Working closely with our Staff Quality Engineer, Principal Engineers, and Infrastructure teams, you'll champion engineering
excellence through hands-on collaboration and guidance.
We are technology-agnostic but currently rely on TypeScript, Playwright, GitHub Actions, PostgreSQL, BigQuery and Sentry. You
should be comfortable getting acquainted with new tools and approaches quickly.

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join Smartly and help shape the future of our multi-channel advertising platform. You’ll be working on expanding Smartly into both new and existing advertising channels. Depending on the team, this can mean greenfield development of new integrations or evolving and scaling established ones like Pinterest. While we can’t share all the details yet, this is a highly strategic area for the company with strong leadership visibility and direct revenue impact. Whether you’re building something new or improving existing integrations, the work goes beyond incremental changes. You’ll be building new capabilities, improving existing ones, and helping shape how different channels are integrated into our platform at scale. In this role, you’ll design systems that power automation for some of the world’s largest advertisers. You’ll work closely with partners like Google, Reddit and Spotify, building deeply integrated solutions that enable customers to launch, optimize, and iterate campaigns efficiently. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore how AI and automation shape the future of ad tech, and turn those ideas into production-grade systems. This role is about ownership and technical influence. You’ll contribute to architectural direction, make trade-offs that balance scalability and product needs, and collaborate across teams to create a unified platform experience across channels. We’re hiring for multiple positions across a range of seniority levels, and we’ll align the role scope and level based on each candidate’s experience during the hiring process. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI Platform Team at Smartly! Our team works on helping marketers make the most of their ad creatives (images, video, text) and campaigns (product and performance data). As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in Team Autopsy, you will build automation and optimization capabilities that help our customers save time, improve campaign performance, and reduce the manual work required to manage advertising campaigns at scale. Team Autopsy owns several core services at the heart of the Smartly platform, including Triggers, Ad Rotation, Smartly Actions, and Action Router. These systems enable customers to automate campaign management, optimize advertising performance, and reliably execute changes across multiple media platforms. As an independent fullstack team operating in the middle of the Smartly product ecosystem, we work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams across the company to deliver scalable solutions that create customer value. Our technology stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Koa, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, and React. We are a data-heavy team and rely extensively on strong typing and shared TypeScript definitions that support development across Smartly.
