We are now looking for a Production Area Manager to join our growing operations organization at our production facility in Rotebro. As a Production Area Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the Lamination production area, combining operational accountability with strong people leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, stable, and efficient production environment while building engaged, capable, and high-performing teams. The Lamination team is responsible for manufacturing the composite hulls and structural components that form the foundation of every Candela vessel. Using advanced composite manufacturing techniques, the team ensures each part meets the highest standards of quality, strength, and precision. Working closely with Engineering and downstream production teams, the Lamination team plays a critical role in delivering lightweight, high-performance structures that enable Candela's cutting-edge hydrofoil technology. What you'll do Lead, coach, and develop employees while fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure production targets are met in terms of quality, delivery, efficiency, and safety. Drive workforce planning, staffing, and competence development to support current and future business needs. Monitor operational performance and take proactive action to address deviations and challenges. Lead continuous improvement initiatives through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure operational excellence. Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging work environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a lamination, composite manufacturing, or related production environment. • Solid and hands-on background in composite manufacturing processes, lamination techniques, and structural bonding within a high-performance production environment. • Experience from industries such as marine (preferably high-performance/advanced marine), aerospace, wind energy, automotive composites, or other advanced composite manufacturing environments. • Proven experience leading production teams and driving performance, quality, safety, and continuous improvement within lamination or similar process-driven manufacturing. • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment where priorities can change quickly and where precision, curing times, and material handling are critical factors. • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build engaged and high-performing teams in a technical production setting. • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Nice to Have · An engineering degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in a relevant field is considered a strong advantage. Role Overview Are you highly resourceful, hands-on, and love bringing complex engineering concepts to life? We are looking for a versatile Lab Technician to play a crucial role in our research and development laboratory. In this position, you won't just be sitting at a desk—you will be building, testing, and troubleshooting next-generation hardware. You will support our engineering team by maintaining a cutting-edge prototyping lab, operating 3D printers, laminating custom composite parts, and safely handling high-power electrical setups. If you are naturally handy, detail-oriented, and love a job where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you. Core Responsibilities  High-Power Electronics Support: Assist engineers in assembling, wiring, and safely testing high-power electronic circuits and pulsed-power components.  Composite & Epoxy Fabrication: Hand-fabricate, coat, and cure specialized parts using composite materials and epoxy resins, ensuring structural and insulating integrity.  3D Printing Operations: Manage our suite of 3D printers (FDM/SLA). This includes preparing CAD files, optimizing print settings, managing filament/resin stocks, and performing post-processing.  Lab & General Bench Work: Act as the go-to person in the lab. Modify mechanical components, build test fixtures, solder wiring harnesses, and keep the workshop organized and operating efficiently.  Safety & Maintenance: Ensure the lab complies with strict electrical and chemical safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools. What We Are Looking For:  The "Handy" Factor: A strong, proven track record of mechanical aptitude. You are comfortable using basic hand tools, power tools, workshop machinery, and precision measuring equipment.  Electronics Background: Basic understanding of electrical safety and components. Experience with soldering, wire crimping, and reading basic schematics is highly valued.  Materials Experience: Hands-on experience working with epoxies, resins, casting, or carbon fibre/fiberglass composites.  Digital Fabrication: Proficiency in operating and maintaining desktop 3D printers. Basic familiarity with slicing software (e.g., Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer); basic CAD tweaking skills are a big plus.  Mindset: A safety-first attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to solving physical, electrical and mechanical problems on the fly.
