Your future role within QRT
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in building, operating, uplifting, and evolving core security
platforms and controls across hybrid, multicloud, and on-prem environments. You will act as a subject matter expert for key
security solutions, ensuring security controls are observable, scalable, and well integrated across the wider technology
ecosystem. You will actively partner with stakeholders, build strong relationships with engineering, infrastructure, and wider
business teams, and collaborate across functions to help shape a modern, scalable security function from the ground up.

Your future role within QRT You will join the Security team, working closely with Software Engineers and Infrastructure teams to embed security into the design, development, and operation of systems across cloud services, business applications, and core infrastructure. * Support the implementation and operation of product security controls across cloud services, core infrastructure, and business applications on Windows and Linux platforms * Work with engineering teams to integrate security into system design and development, applying practical approaches suitable for fast-moving environments * Contribute to secure software development practices, including supporting security reviews across languages such as Python, C++, Rust, Go, and Kotlin/Java * Perform threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and security code reviews with guidance from senior team members * Assist with integrating and operating security tooling (e.g., SAST, DAST, dependency scanning) within CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments * Identify security risks and contribute to remediation and mitigation plans with engineering teams * Perform vendor security reviews to assess third-party security practices against internal standards * Build your product security knowledge and share learnings with peers across engineering teams Requirements: * 3–5 years of experience in product security, application security, software engineering, or a related role * Hands-on experience with secure coding practices and at least one of: Python, C++, Rust, Go, Kotlin/Java * Solid technical foundation in software development, system architecture, or infrastructure, with a strong interest in security * Working knowledge of security principles and common vulnerabilities affecting software, cloud platforms, and business applications * Experience securing Windows and/or Linux-based systems * Practical experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS or Microsoft Azure), ideally in hybrid environments * Familiarity with threat modelling, vulnerability management, and risk assessment concepts * Experience using or integrating security scanning tools into development workflows and/or CI/CD pipelines * Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment * Exposure to low-latency or performance-sensitive systems * Experience in financial services and/or regulated environments * Interest in automation and security tooling development QRT is an equal opportunity employer. As an Infrastructure Support Engineer (AWS), you will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and securing cloud infrastructure to support critical business operations. The team works closely with development teams, DevOps, and system administrators to ensure seamless cloud functionality. Your future role at QRT: * Design and implement custom AWS architectures to enhance the quantitative research and modelling processes of the desk * Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to AWS infrastructure. * Collaborate with quantitative researchers, developers, and data scientists to understand their needs and translate them into scalable, flexible, and secure cloud solutions * Design and implement custom AWS architectures to enhance the quantitative research and modelling processes of the desk * Develop automation scripts using Terraform, CloudFormation, and other tools to improve cloud management and efficiency. * Work on continuous monitoring and optimizing performance and cost-effectiveness of cloud infrastructure. * Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve the reliability, scalability, and security of the company's cloud infrastructure Your present skillset: * Troubleshooting should be core to your skill set and will be extremely useful to have ability to dive into issues without much context and troubleshoot the way to resolution. * 8+ years' experience as a Cloud Architect or Engineer with a strong focus on AWS technologies. * In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and others * Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash) * Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform). * Experience with containers and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) * Experience with monitoring and performance tuning in cloud environments. * Familiarity with agile software development methodologies * Experience debugging with software development tools. * Experience with working and troubleshooting with Windows and Linux OS administration. * The ability to duplicate specific software error or AWS configuration to define the cause. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interpret and answer complex technical questions, provide and ensure user follow-up and contribute to knowledge base content. * Maintain patience and composure as you help end users through their issues. * AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc) are a plus QRT is an equal opportunity employer. The AWS Cloud Engineering Team provides a scalable, performant and best practice platform for QRT’s application and core teams to utilize in deploying cloud native services. This team is critical in ensuring that applications are built on a strong AWS foundation from the perspective of governance, security and connectivity. Your future role within QRT We are seeking a Network Operations Engineer to support the ongoing operation, scalability and continuous improvement of our global AWS network. This role focuses on implementing change safely and consistently at scale, improving automation, and providing operational support to internal stakeholders. You will work closely with senior engineers, application teams, security and IT to ensure reliable, well-governed and observable network services in a production-sensitive environment. The role is expected to involve the following activities: * Implement changes across our global AWS network using Infrastructure-as-Code * Maintain and enhance Terraform modules to ensure scalable, repeatable and consistent network deployments * Develop and maintain automation tooling using Python and Bash * Execute controlled changes via CI/CD pipelines with appropriate validation and peer review * Assess and manage the risk associated with network changes, ensuring appropriate testing, impact analysis and rollback strategies are in place * Support and resolve network-related tickets raised by internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner * Troubleshoot connectivity and configuration issues within AWS environments using both native and third-party tooling * Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks and continuous process improvement This role offers strong growth opportunities into deeper cloud networking, platform engineering and automation.
