that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We are looking for a US Export Control Officer to own the day-to-day execution of U.S. export controls at TEC US LLC. In this
role, you will make clear, practical, and well-documented decisions on the handling of controlled hardware, software, and
technical data, while helping teams move quickly without creating compliance risk.
You will work at the intersection of engineering, digital tools, procurement, legal, and operations. You will lead U.S.
export-control execution for TEC US LLC, partner closely with the other Export Control Officers on cross-jurisdiction matters, and
build the discipline, records, and training needed to keep the company audit-ready as programs scale.
In this role, you will be responsible for the legally compliant and operationally effective execution of U.S. export controls
across TEC US LLC. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
access changes, travel access, external collaboration, scope changes, and incidents.
expanded internal access, or new collaboration scope is approved.
tracking, reporting obligations, and coordination with government authorities when needed.
record of assumptions, approvals, and restrictions.

You will assist the Chief of Engineering on the Nyx project by providing your technical expertise in space projects. You will support the Nyx Engineers in the design, qualification, and certification by participating in reviews and dedicated task forces. You will be instrumental in enabling new missions in the US by managing projects including early vehicle and subsystems development. You will support our US Sales and Government relations efforts by developing and maintaining relationships with customer organizations and by supporting the development of US government and commercial proposals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead assigned System and Subsystem Projects including the management of cost, schedule, technical quality and risk * Support Business Development and Sales efforts with local and state-wide government and commercial customers. Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and commercial partners. * Support development of US government and commercial proposals, including the integration of cost, schedule and risk elements into cohesive bids. * Support the engineering team in design, development, and certification activities, and assist in the execution of the verification tasks in cooperation with customers such as NASA. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE FROM YOU Required: * Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, systems, electrical engineering or related technical field. * 10+ years of experience in space systems project management, systems engineering, or space systems development. * Broad knowledge across spacecraft sub-systems, re-entry technologies, and/or crew systems. * Experience across the space systems lifecycle including requirements definition, design, assembly, integration, test, and operations. * Experience with ISS resupply, LEO station logistics, or exploration programs. * Knowledge and experience with US contracting processes, including NASA and commercial space procurement. * Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary international teams. Desirable: * Familiarity with U.S. aerospace regulations, FAA licensing, and export control (ITAR/EAR). * Previous experience working in a startup or fast-growing aerospace company.
