Marketing Communications Manager – 9-month FTC Cycle Company: Cycle Pharmaceuticals Ltd Position Summary: This is a full-time 9-month fixed term contract within the Marketing department, working in our Cambridge office on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days in the office). The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and overseeing a wide range of communications, from product launch materials and patient-facing content to corporate messaging, public relations, social media, and internal communications. If you want to know more about what we do then, why not check out our website below and look at some of our patient stories: Patient Stories - Cycle Pharma What you’ll be doing in this role: * Lead the development and delivery of compelling content and communications across multiple channels and audiences. * Write, edit and manage a broad range of marketing and corporate materials including press releases, brochures, patient and healthcare professional materials, websites, email campaigns, social media content, presentations and promotional assets. * Support, coach and develop a team of two, conducting regular one-to-one meetings and providing ongoing support to help them grow and succeed in their roles. * Partner with graphic designers to transform content into engaging and effective marketing materials. * Own and manage the annual communications plan, working closely with Brand Managers, Cycle Vita and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and impactful messaging. * Support product launches and campaign activity through the creation of audience-focused messaging and content strategies. * Drive the development of Cycle's content and communications approach, including tone of voice, content governance, SEO best practice and audience engagement strategies. * Manage public relations communications, including press releases and media-related activity. * Support the delivery of multi-channel marketing activity including conferences, exhibitions, advisory boards, digital campaigns, translations and promotional materials. * Challenge existing approaches and identify new and innovative ways to communicate with key audiences using data and insight to inform decision making. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure communications projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with agreed objectives. * Ensure all communications and promotional materials comply with relevant regulatory, legal and compliance requirements. The following skills and experience will be important in helping to set you up to succeed in this role: * Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related discipline. * Significant experience in a communications, content marketing, copywriting, public relations or marketing communications role. * Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences. * Demonstrable experience creating content across multiple channels including digital, print, social media and corporate communications. * Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. * Experience developing communication plans and delivering integrated campaigns. * Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. * Previous line management, mentoring or people leadership experience. * Experience within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries. * Knowledge of FDA regulations, HIPAA requirements, and healthcare communications. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). 1 MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT The Global Policy Impact department drives WWF’s global policy ambition by mobilizing the Network’s collective influencing power to embed nature at the heart of global decision- making. We work across teams, sectors, and geographies to ensure that global policy commitments translate into measurable outcomes for people and planet. We support policy leadership across the WWF Network, align shared influencing strategies, and strengthen WWF’s presence in key global arenas. Through strategic partnerships, proactive engagement, and coordinated action, we anticipate emerging opportunities and threats, and shape global discourses through 2030 and beyond. 2 MAJOR FUNCTIONS The Senior Coordinator in the Global Policy Impact department plays a key role in ensuring smooth coordination and operational efficiency across the team, with other WWF units, and external partners. The role is grounded in providing high-level administrative and operational support to the Director, including calendar management, travel logistics, and expense processing, while also contributing to the coordination of the team. The Senior Coordinator maintains clear and consistent internal communication, manages updates and briefings, and organizes internal and external meetings and events. In addition, the role supports an dedicated Knowledge Manager to the team by maintaining shared resources and documentation and supports cross-team collaboration to promote integrated approaches across WWF. They assist the Director with strategic planning, reporting, and coordination of cross-cutting initiatives, and prepare internal materials to support decision- making and enhance team visibility. The role also contributes to budget tracking and administrative processes, helping to ensure the department operates efficiently and delivers on WWF’s global policy objectives. 3 MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ● Provide strategic and operational support to the Director of Global Policy Impact, including preparation of briefings, coordination of priorities, and follow-up on key actions and decisions. ● Provide proactive calendar management, travel coordination and submission of expense reports for Director and cluster Heads, ensuring schedules run smoothly and logistics are efficiently organized. ● Facilitate internal coordination across the Global Policy Impact team, ensuring alignment of workplans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams. ● Supports team in the coordination of global policy fora ● Organize and support internal meetings, workshops, and retreats, including agenda development, logistics, documentation, and follow-up actions. ● Manage and maintain the team’s SharePoint site, ensuring shared resources and documentation are well-organized, accessible, and support effective collaboration. ● Build and update an internal SharePoint communications site to keep internal colleagues informed and aligned with key updates, priorities, and organizational developments. ● Support the development and monitoring of strategic plans, annual workplans, and internal reporting processes, ensuring alignment with departmental goals. ● Assist with budget tracking, procurement processes, contract management, and compliance with internal procedures. 4 PROFILE Required Qualifications. ● University degree preferably in business administration ● At least 5-7 years’ relevant experience as a senior or executive assistant in an international environment. Required Skills and Competencies. ● A flexible working style, absolute discretion and unfailing diplomacy. ● Excellent command of written and spoken English; other languages would be an advantage. ● Experience in designing and managing internal communication tools and asset ● Computer literate and numerate in Microsoft Office and Google Suite with additional ability to use online collaborative tools for communication, interactive presentations and digital whiteboards ● Experience of working in a multi-tasking and international environment. ● Ability to run multiple projects at the same time ● Independent self-starter. ● Precision and timeliness in completion of tasks and projects ● Embraces the WWF mission and values of the organisation: Courage, Integrity, Respect & Collaboration. 5 WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Internal. We’re looking for a Rider Engagement Associate - 9 Months Maternity Cover to join our ME Rider Operations team. The Rider Engagement Associate (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for leading rider engagement initiatives and campaigns end-to-end across Kuwait. The role will own the planning, coordination, budgeting, execution, and reporting of engagement activities that improve rider experience and strengthen Deliveroo’s relationship with its rider fleet. The candidate will report directly to the Middle East Rider Engagement Manager. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: * Lead the planning, budgeting and execution of rider engagement events and initiatives throughout the year, including seasonal activations and in-person rider activities and events. * Develop and execute rider communications across multiple channels to drive awareness, participation, and engagement for various initiatives. * Own rider reporting and intel gathering, including running surveys and focus groups, aiming to share insights on industry trends or rider pain points with stakeholders. * Partner with Operations and other internal teams to support the rollout of rider-focused initiatives and programmes. * Track and evaluate the performance of engagement campaigns, communications, and events using relevant metrics (e.g. rider satisfaction surveys and redemption rates). * Identify and pursue impactful rider benefit partnerships (e.g. grocers, restaurants, and bike service shops) to strengthen Deliveroo’s non-monetary rider proposition in Kuwait. * Build strong relationships with riders and act as a voice of the rider within the business. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others: * 1–3 years of experience in Operations, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing & Community Engagement. * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a plus). * Hands-on and proactive, demonstrating the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently. * Experience coordinating events, workshops, or engagement initiatives is a plus. * Proficient in Google Workspace tools and Excel/Sheets, with experience in Canva or similar design tools as a plus. * Available to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract and commit to the full duration of the maternity cover.
