ABOUT THE TEAM
The Product Design team defines and delivers user-facing experiences across Stripe. Product Designers work closely with engineers,
product managers, researchers, strategists, operations, data scientists, and marketers to shape products from early strategy
through launch and iteration.
You'll be joining the Risk team, which shapes how businesses get started on Stripe, build trust, stay compliant, and grow with
confidence. The work spans businesses of every size and helps keep both our users and the Stripe ecosystem safe.
Risk is a high-impact design space where the problems are both strategic and complex. As a designer on the team, you'll help bring
clarity to critical user moments, reduce friction for legitimate businesses, and raise the craft bar where trust, ease, and
confidence matter most.
This role is a strong fit for a designer who is energized by complexity, motivated by impact, and excited to turn difficult
systems into simple, intuitive experiences.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you'll design experiences that help businesses start and grow successfully on Stripe. You'll work closely with
cross-functional partners to define problems, shape direction, and ship high-quality experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate complex systems, policies, and operational constraints into clear, thoughtful product experiences
Identify high-leverage opportunities that improve coherence across journeys, touchpoints, and surfaces
Partner closely with PMs, engineers, researchers, operations, and strategists to shape product direction and drive user and
business outcomes
Develop both long-term strategy and pragmatic short-term solutions
Design, prototype, and communicate ideas with creative storytelling and demos
Use qualitative and quantitative signals to inform decisions and evaluate impact
Raise the craft bar in a domain where quality and trust matter deeply
Work closely with engineering to ensure a high bar for craft and implementation qualityContribute to shared patterns and
systems that help the broader Risk organization build with coherence
WHO YOU ARE
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you
are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of relevant product design experience at a product-driven technology company
A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent craft, systems thinking, and end-to-end design, including a strong understanding of
AI tools
Experience working on complex product areas with multiple stakeholders, constraints, and interconnected workflows
Strong product thinking and the ability to shape direction, not just execute against requirements
Demonstrated ability to prototype and design across multiple touchpoints and surfaces
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence through clear design rationale and artifacts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Think in systems and design solutions that scale across users, workflows, and surfaces
Have strong product judgment and influence beyond the UI
Care deeply about quality from concept through implementation
Move fluidly between big-picture thinking and interaction-level craft
Are energized by ambiguous, strategic problem spaces—not just well-defined execution

Your crew
The engineering team in Linköping consists of around 90 people, including engineering managers, design, analysis, systems, and verification engineers. We work in an international environment, closely collaborating with our customers as well as with other Beyond Gravity sites across Europe and the USA.
Your mission
Develops and supports electrical designs for harnesses, firmware, and test systems, considering cost, mass, integration, and manufacturability.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams and specialists to ensure alignment of electrical designs with system and project requirements.
Applies core electrical engineering knowledge, including EMC, harness routing, mechanical integration, and space application standards, using CAD tools for design and component selection.
Defines, performs, and supports electrical testing and validation activities, including test hardware design, drawing reviews, and requirement traceability.
Translates system requirements into electrical subsystem specifications and prepares compliance matrices and verification documentation.
Participates in technical reviews, supplier interactions, and audits, contributing to design validation and compliance assessments.
Supports production and quality processes, including non-conformance resolution, root cause analysis, First Article Inspection (FAI), and operator guidance.
Maintains and communicates technical documentation and project status, ensuring traceability and clear reporting to stakeholders.
Contributes to requirement management, risk identification, task tracking, and budget awareness, escalating issues as needed.
Applies structured problem-solving and critical thinking to make informed technical decisions balancing performance, cost, and schedule.
Supports bidding, proposals, and engineering change processes (ECP/CCN), while contributing to product development, continuous improvement, and team knowledge sharing.
Your story
Must’s:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Aerospace, electrical or other engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of electrical engineering experience in aerospace or equivalent industry.
Proven experience in electrical design and Harness/Routing. Experience in Altium Designer and/or other PCB layout generation tools (for circuit design, PCB design).
Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks.
Nice to have’s:
Experience in the space industry, with electrical componentes.
Experience with microelectronics, programming of microprocessors and in Labview.
Familiarity with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.

* Develop a radically better access control system for clinical data: Create a modern access control system with fine-grained
permissions that respects clinical data structure and patient data ownership, while enabling population-level insights for
better public health.
* Keep hospitals online 24/7 - no matter what: Design and ship infrastructure that can handle rolling deployments, failover, and
real-time data sync in environments where downtime isn’t an inconvenience - it’s a risk to patient care.
* Bridge the gap between software and hardware: Architect a next-generation integration engine to connect ventilators, bedside
monitors, imaging equipment, lab equipment, and more - reliably and in real time.
* Push hospital workflows into the modern age: Rethink and rewire how data moves between nurses, doctors, and administrators -
and turn confusing, click-heavy workflows into fast, intuitive experiences.
Your Experience:
* Minimum of 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
* Proficiency with object oriented and functional programming, with the ability and willingness to use and adopt new
