Take a peek on Instagram @burgainsider   ABOUT THE POSITION   Director of Manufacturing Engineering at BURGA is more than just a title - it's a mandate to build and lead the entire engineering backbone of a fast-scaling global manufacturer. You will own four critical functions: Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, Technicians, and Technologists - and be directly accountable for turning engineering into a competitive advantage.   Your role: You’ll be driving engineering strategy, building leadership capability below you, and ensuring that every product we make — from phone cases to drinkware - is produced faster, better, and with less waste than the day before.   This is a role for someone who has already led multi-functional engineering organizations, thinks in systems, and knows how to make factories measurably better - not just operationally managed.   WHAT YOU’LL DO   - Own and execute BURGA's engineering strategy across CI, Process Engineering, Technicians, and Technologists functions - Directly manage four functional heads and develop their leadership capability - Drive measurable improvements in OEE, scrap rate, downtime, and MTTR and other KPI across all production lines - Set engineering KPIs, hold teams accountable, and report performance at C-level - Lead investment decisions on equipment, technology, and engineering infrastructure - Coordinate NPD/NPLM processes together with the Projects department - ensuring new products are manufactured-ready before series launch - Identify systemic production failures and implement structural - not symptomatic - fixes - Participate in hiring decisions for all engineering leadership roles below you - Build an engineering culture grounded in data, ownership, and continuous learning    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR   - Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) - 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a multi-team leadership role - Proven experience managing teams of 15+ people across multiple functions - Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt - or equivalent demonstrated competency in practice (Optional) - Direct budget ownership experience (>500k EUR or equivalent) - Hands-on knowledge of OEE, SMED, VSM, FMEA, and CI methodologies - not just theoretical - Experience in high-mix, high-volume consumer product manufacturing - Strong data analysis skills - decisions must be evidence-based - Ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a fast-moving environment   SALARY: 5500 - 8500 EUR GROSS/month. Take a peek on Instagram@burgainsider ABOUT THE POSITION Head of Print Technology at BURGA is a key engineering leadership role focused on ensuring that our manufacturing processes are stable, scalable, data-driven, and continuously improving. You will be responsible for driving technological excellence across production by solving complex manufacturing problems, improving print quality and process capability, and building robust technological standards across the factory. Your role: You’ll work at the intersection of Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, NPD, and Continuous Improvement — ensuring that every product we launch can be manufactured consistently, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. This role is built for someone who combines deep manufacturing technology knowledge with analytical problem solving and a systems-thinking mindset. This is not a “firefighting” role. We are looking for someone who can identify root causes, standardize processes, and build long-term technological stability across manufacturing operations. WHAT YOU’LL DO   - Lead manufacturing technology optimization across production, ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality printing processes - Identify, analyze, and eliminate root causes of production defects using structured problem-solving methods (8D, CAPA, FMEA) - Drive print quality stability by optimizing process parameters, reducing variability, scrap, and recurring issues - Develop, maintain, and standardize technological documentation, SOPs, and process control systems - Act as key technical partner in New Product Development (NPD), ensuring manufacturability and smooth industrialization before serial production - Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, CI, and Production teams to improve overall manufacturing performance and efficiency - Promote a data-driven, standardized, and continuous improvement culture across manufacturing operations   WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR   - Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering, Printing Technology, or related field - 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, quality engineering, or manufacturing technology roles - Strong hands-on experience in root cause analysis, defect troubleshooting, and process optimization in production environments - Practical knowledge of structured methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, CAPA, Lean, or Six Sigma - Experience with manufacturing process control, quality systems, and process capability improvement - Participation in NPD / industrialization or new product launch processes in a manufacturing environment - Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with production data and drive evidence-based decisions - Ability to collaborate across engineering, production, quality, and product development teams in a fast-paced environment   SALARY: 4500 - 5500 EUR GROSS/month   EXTRA SWEETENERS   Epic Team-Buildings: Enjoy team-building activities, including our all-talked-about Summer Fest and Christmas parties.
