You will maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade the control system of the Isar rocket engine test facility near Kiruna (Sweden). You
will assume technical responsibility for both software and hardware elements of the control system. There will be close
collaboration with the Isar Munich control systems team for work on both this facility, and other future projects.
You will be involved in day-to-day test operations, and will work alongside Propulsion Test Engineers to operate the facility. It
is expected that there will be a close connection to the other test engineers, and development of a deep understanding of facility
systems and requirements.

Mission Brief The Controls & Automation Technician is part of a team responsible for operating, maintaining and upgrading Isar Aerospace’s engine test facility located at Esrange in the Swedish Arctic. The role encompasses responsibility for the test facility's electrical system, including schematic design, construction, commissioning, and operational troubleshooting. Mission Brief The Electrical Technician is part of a team responsible for operating, maintaining and upgrading Isar Aerospace’s engine test facility located at Esrange in the Swedish Arctic. Mission Brief As a Controls & Automation Engineer at ISAR, you will be deeply involved in building and maintaining all kinds of test benches, test sites and launch sites for subcomponent testing up to launching rockets. This will include planning, developing and commissioning of the required control systems (Beckhoff PLC & TwinCAT 3), followed by full lifecycle support, including troubleshooting and upgrading systems.
