in Lauterbourg (Frankreich – Region Grand Est).
Als Data Center Technician (all genders) bei Contabo trägst du direkt zum Unternehmenserfolg bei, denn unsere Rechenzentren sind
das Herzstück und Fundament unseres Unternehmens. Damit alles reibungslos funktioniert, kümmerst du dich gemeinsam mit dem
bestehenden Team um die Installation, Betreuung und Reparatur von Servern und unserer weiteren Infrastruktur.
Dein Arbeitsalltag ist abwechslungsreich: von der Verkabelung von IT- und Netzwerkkomponenten bis hin zur kontinuierlichen
Optimierung unserer neu gebauten Rechenzentren vor Ort in Lauterbourg durch Serverumzüge oder Rebuilds ist alles dabei.
Neben der praktischen Arbeit kümmerst du dich um die Pflege der Dokumentation und den Ausbau unserer Wissensdatenbank – hier
kannst du dein Wissen teilen und erweitern. Du sorgst für reibungslose Abläufe im Betrieb des Rechenzentrums und behältst immer
den Überblick durch Monitoring der IT-Infrastruktur. Sollte mal etwas schiefgehen, bist du zur Stelle: du kümmerst dich
selbstständig darum, dass der Incident schnell, aber auch ordentlich gelöst wird und im Idealfall nicht noch einmal auftritt. So
kannst du mit einer Aktion zigtausend Kunden auf einmal glücklich machen.
Sollte es mal alleine nicht möglich sein, hast du mehrere Teams von Spezialisten im Hintergrund, an die du dich wenden und den
Fall weiterleiten kannst. Gemeinsam kommt ihr so sicher zu einer Lösung.
Last but not least arbeitest du auch aktiv an den Prozessen des Change- und Service-Managements mit und trägst so zur
kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer Infrastruktur bei.

Provide destruction and disposal services including Certificate(s) of Destruction for systems that are End of Life (EOL). Deploy software packages to end-user systems as specified by Customer. Contact third-party suppliers including but not limited to Ricoh and HP on behalf of Customer for printer-related issues. Maintain and manage Customer’s network printers including toner replacement and regular printer maintenance. Provide Project Management Services for projects relating to Workstation & Printer services. Maintain an inventory of Customer’s workstations, peripheral and printer devices. Adherent to Customer’s onboarding and offboarding processes. Ensure availability of Customer’s workstations and printers per prescribed SLAs. What you will bring to the team: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate ’ s degree preferred and at least 5 years ’ experience with PC systems, related peripherals, structure cabling, and common software programs and Operating Systems. A+ certification 5+ years’ experience with desktop/laptop hardware. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Familiarity with standard Windows O/S and Office suites. Apple iOS knowledge Ability to perform final configuration tasks on customer premises. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to thoroughly and accurately perform inventory and asset recording and complete paperwork as required by customer, including vendor warranties. Strong technical background in electronics, mechanical, and/or software. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
