We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and evolution of our
flagship game, Oxide: Survival Island.

Experience with a leading video game / IT / tech company combined with prior experience at a top-tier law firm or Big 4 company will also be considered. * Education: A UK Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B). An LL.M and/or legal ranking recognition is a strong advantage. * Language Skills: Native-level Greek and fluent English (written and spoken). * Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Corporate, Commercial, and IP Law, with a passion for technical precision and drafting excellence. You will work across multiple layers of game design — from social features, onboarding, and progression to core gameplay improvements — while also supporting LiveOps and monetization initiatives. We keep this role open on an ongoing basis because we’re always interested in meeting exceptional Game Designers who can make a real impact on the project. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: * Design and develop meta systems that drive long-term engagement, including social features (e.g., clans), FTUE/onboarding, progression, and retention mechanics. * Contribute to core gameplay design, including reworking and improving core mechanics. * Plan and support LiveOps and monetization features, including events, passes, and offers, ensuring they are well integrated into the overall game ecosystem. * Collaborate with 2D/3D art teams: define requirements, brief leads, and manage asset pipelines for in-game features and content. * Configure and implement game content in Unity. * Run A/B tests, perform basic performance analysis, and prepare insights and recommendations for future iterations.
