Warehouse Supervisor

Coke Florida is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor based out of our Jacksonville location. We’re currently looking for 2nd shift, working 4:00pm-finish, Sunday-Thursday. What You Will Do: As a Coke Florida Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials. Roles and Responsibilities: * Supervises 25-30 direct reports warehouse personnel  * Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members * Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse  * Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility  * Allocate necessary space for stock rotation * Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control * Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable  * Secure company assets  * Manage within labor and OPEX budget   For this role, you will need: * High school diploma or GED required  * At least 2 years of prior warehouse or distribution experience required * Requires experience managing people and budgets * At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution supervisor leadership position * Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product  * Forklift certification is required upon commencement of work Additional qualifications that will make you successful in the role: * Advanced Excel experience  * Familiarity with inventory management systems and SAP preferred This role is extremely physical, and will require: * Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance * Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching about the head, reaching at the waist, reaching below the knees and bending at the knees * Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack or hand truck) containing product loads up to a minimum of 100 yards without assistance * Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination * Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities * Ability to read information in small, medium and large print * Ability to stand a minimum of 8 hours during the workday up to 10 hours * Ability to walk a minimum of 4 hours during the workday * Frequently work in a hot/humid indoor environment * Ability to use an audio headset to listen to directions in English

We embrace our employees’ differences and acknowledge and support our collective responsibility.   About the Position The Material Handler Supervisor is responsible for the flow of donated goods throughout the production area, supporting the individual production areas with incoming material and removal of salvage and trash, generating revenue to support the Mission of Seattle Goodwill.   Pay Rate: $23.97/hour   Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. * Coordinate the efforts of the Dock and Staging staff with production areas, transportation, and the Production Manager. * Maintain a good working relationship with other production departments. * Write periodic performance reviews for all reporting personnel. * Audit quality decisions of material moving to salvage and to the production floor. * Maintain a clean work environment. * Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; assist in safety training of employees; reports any potential hazards or accidents. * Oversee baling of salvage textiles. * Oversee scrap metal operation. * Requisition production supplies as needed and maintain inventories on hand. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Consistent and safe execution of duties associated with forklift operation when certified to Seattle Goodwill standards.* Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Goodwill’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: * If applicable to job role: Seattle Goodwill Forklift certification optional, must meet eligibility requirements.   Physical Abilities: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to lift and carry up to 30 - 40 pounds; have developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; standing for long periods, frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain). Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills.
