Explore your future career 🔭 As our Bid & Proposal Manager, your mission is to partner with sales and account management teams to deliver high-impact, professional, and winning bids & proposals for complex international requirements. Operating out of our London office as a core pillar of our global enablement strategy, you will own the market requirements, coordinate complex B2B deals across global boundaries, and build out a scalable, AI-driven proposal architecture to directly drive international revenue growth.
We're currently looking for a Commercial Planning Manager to join our Commercial Operations team and deliver strong business planning and customer journey management capabilities. This role is responsible for sales volume planning, digital customer journey, payment operations and various business reporting to support sustainable business growth and operational excellence. This position is located at Polestar Automotive Korea office in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course. The responsibilities The Commercial Planning Manager will be responsible for planning sales volume and managing customer journeys, digital operations and business reporting to support commercial performance. This role will directly report to Head of Commercial Operations. What you'll do * Develop monthly sales volume plans and manage sales forecasts, including order intake, product mix, option mix and business outlook. * Manage the end-to-end digital customer journey and related systems to continuously improve customer experience and operational efficiency. * Drive financial product management and tactical campaigns based on market trends and budgets, while supervising partner alignments (FSP, credit card company and PG) and weekly/monthly performance reviews with HQ. * Act as the primary point of contact for customer journey and digital sales process issues, coordinating with relevant team in HQ / APAC and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and continuous process improvement. * Manage business operations related to payment, Mo2 and EV subsidy processes while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners. * Monitor commercial performance and prepare regular business planning reports, forecasts and presentations for HQ and management. * Support new model launches by ensuring customer journey, digital operations and commercial process readiness. * Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes through data analysis, system enhancements and cross-functional collaboration Who you are We seek a highly motivated and analytical team player with strong commercial planning capabilities and a structured approach to problem-solving. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with cross-functional stakeholders, and translating data into actionable business insights. In addition, you'll need the following qualifications: * Master or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or equivalent * Minimum 6 years’ experience in the automotive field or related * Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights and recommendation * Experience in business planning, forecasting and performance reporting * Experience in managing cross-functional projects and driving process improvements * Strong stakeholder management skills * Excellent written and verbal English skills People at Polestar We know that a change is needed. As Demand Planning Manager, you will ensure that parts and accessories are available to support our products throughout their lifecycle. In this role, you will report to Johan Törnqvist, Manager, Demand Planning, Global Operations. About the role: This is a unique opportunity to shape a global demand planning capability in a growing aftermarket business, where your work directly impacts customer experience and commercial performance. You will play an important role in strengthening and aligning demand planning ways of working across our global organization, helping stakeholders navigate change as processes, tools, and forecasting capabilities continue to evolve. You will drive planning across a 24-month rolling horizon, ensuring high forecast accuracy and actively managing bias. A key focus will be to continuously and strategically improve our system-driven forecasting models and strengthen how we work with data, while proactively identifying deviations and driving actions based on trends and insights. You will also play an important role in performance management and continuous improvement by defining and monitoring key KPIs and using insights to support decision-making. You will help translate demand patterns into clear business recommendations and drive initiatives to further enhance our forecasting methods, tools, and processes globally. In addition, you will lead, coach, and develop a growing team of six demand planners, building strong capabilities within forecasting, analytics, and stakeholder collaboration. You will lead through change, creating engagement, clarity, and alignment as the function and its ways of working continue to evolve. About you: To succeed in this role we believe you are a driven and curious leader who enjoys working in complexity and turning insights into action. Your skills and background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or equivalent Experience within demand planning, forecasting and supply chain planning Experience driving transformation initiatives as well as working in cross-functional and international environments handling different stakeholders Proven ability to lead people and develop teams Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data and KPIs Experience with advanced planning systems and solid Excel skills Experience from aftermarket, spare parts, or complex product structures is a strong advantage. Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge in Swedish is considered an advantage Location This position will be based in Huskvarna, Sweden.
