About Elyos AI
We’re building the next generation of customer service with AI Agents. Our agents answer calls, reply to emails and WhatsApp
messages, make bookings, take payments, and operate the CRM in the same way a human would.
We founded Elyos in June 2023 and took part in the Y Combinator S23 batch. Our founders spent four months in San Francisco living
and breathing AI. Since then, we’ve been growing revenue ~30% month on month and shipping fast. It’s been wild so far - and we’re
just getting started. We recently raised a $13m series A to turbocharge our growth.
You will manage our end-to-end event strategy, from trade-show floors to our global conference series. While I define the
high-level strategy, you will be responsible for the execution and quality control.
These functions are deeply integrated: events provide the narratives, speakers, and media needed for content, while content drives
attendance and post-event engagement. By managing both, you will ensure a seamless growth loop.

Location: London Full-time In office 4 days/week Why This Role * You’ll build something: Modulr’s event programme is growing, and this person will shape what it looks like * Real visibility: you’ll work closely with senior leadership and commercial teams, not just marketing * Genuine ownership: this isn’t a coordination role. You’ll have full accountability for the programme and the outcomes * A business that’s scaling: Modulr is at an exciting point of growth, which means the events programme will grow with it Modulr is the payments automation platform that streamlines money movement with accuracy, control and reliability – built to scale. We process more than 200m transactions and over £180bn in payment value on an annualised basis, and we're trusted by over 6,000 businesses from fast-growing SMEs to global enterprises. We automate how money moves into and out of a business – payroll, supplier payments, spend management and payment collection – through a single platform, connected to the accounting and payroll systems finance teams already use and underpinned by principal memberships of Visa and Mastercard and direct access to central bank infrastructure. As a regulated payments provider with over a decade of experience, we're the platform finance teams trust to run mission-critical operations. Find out more about us on our website and careers site. What You’ll Do As Senior Events Marketing Manager, you’ll own Modulr’s event programme end to end: from flagship trade shows and customer conferences, to roundtables, regional and partner gatherings. You’ll work closely with marketing, commercial and senior leadership, and you’ll connect what you deliver to pipeline and revenue outcomes, not just logistics. Own the event programme - You’ll take full ownership of Modulr’s events from start to finish: budgeting, logistics, vendor management, on-site delivery and post-event review. This includes spearheading our customer conferences and managing trade shows across our target sectors each year. Drive commercial outcomes through events - You’ll define clear success metrics for each event, with pipeline contribution front and centre. You understand how events fit into the broader commercial picture, and you’ll use that lens to prioritise spend and shape programmes. Post-event reporting won’t just cover attendance and engagement: it will cover impact on brand, pipeline and revenue. Shape content and messaging - You’ll work with content marketing, demand generation and senior leadership to develop event messaging, set agendas and secure speakers. You’ll make sure every event reflects Modulr’s positioning and lands with the right audience. Manage delivery across partners and vendors - You’ll work closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure every event runs smoothly. Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, hitting milestones and staying calm under pressure is core to how you operate. Build scalable processes - You’ll assess and improve how events are planned and delivered at Modulr, building the foundations for a programme that can scale as the business grows. Use data to improve - You’ll monitor KPIs, analyse outcomes and bring actionable insight back into future planning. You’re not just executing, you’re learning and iterating with every event. Who You Are * 3 to 5 years of hands-on event delivery experience, with a strong track record of running in-person events that genuinely land: not just executed, but evaluated * Commercially minded: you understand how events contribute to pipeline and revenue, you can articulate that case to senior stakeholders, and you use it to inform how you prioritise and plan * Experienced across a range of event formats: trade shows, customer conferences, roundtables, field events and virtual * Strong project manager who can hold multiple workstreams without dropping detail, and who keeps stakeholders aligned without being chased * Confident working with and directing external agencies and production teams * Skilled at developing new events from scratch, from concept through to delivery and review * A clear communicator and credible stakeholder manager, comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leaders * Exposure to marketing technology, data analytics or demand generation is a genuine plus * Curious about AI and how it can improve how events are planned, personalised and measured What We Offer You * Share Options – We offer a Company Share Option Plan (CSOP), giving you the opportunity to benefit from any increase in share value in the event of a sale, merger, or flotation. * Bonus – Our annual discretionary bonus, paid in May for the previous year, is based on both company and individual performance. * Flexible benefits - £1000 to spend on benefits to suit you, including private medical insurance, gym membership, dental etc. * Wellbeing app – confidential, on-demand access to therapy, coaching, counselling, management training or mindfulness sessions with accredited professionals, with company-funded hours and top-up options available. * Holidays - 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus your birthday off. In the UK, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day are fixed holidays. You can choose the remaining days to suit your personal schedule. * Learning opportunities - Our two-day onboarding program, ModStart, helps equip you for success. Learning doesn’t stop there; we’ll continue to support your development through various channels. * Company-Wide Events - Participate in collaborative and engaging events with colleagues across the business. * Bike to work / E-bike scheme ModInclusion At Modulr, we’re committed to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture where everyone feels they belong and can bring their whole self to work.
