At Joko, we help consumers shop smarter. Our mission is to revolutionize shopping, empowering people to find what they need, make informed decisions, and save money. Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 105 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 6 million users already save money every day at 10,000+ merchants with Joko. From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts and carbon tracking, we keep expanding our products to make shopping smarter. We’re now building an AI-powered shopping assistant to help users find the best products by price, quality, and environmental impact. Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US. It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us! 🧚 OUR MARKETING TEAM No one is more creative and data-driven than this team — they have the best of both worlds. The Marketing Team's mission is to get our product into the hearts of millions of users around the world. * The Growth Team builds and scales innovative growth engines to conquer markets, attract, and retain users. * The Brand Team shapes Joko's long-term vision and builds a lasting emotional connection with users. * The Campaign & Merchandising Team drives our B2C campaign calendar and elevates the shopping experience. * The B2B Marketing Team positions Joko as the top partner in our space and builds a standout employer brand. Led by Isa, our CMO, the team is constantly innovating to take the business to new heights. This role sits at a unique intersection. The US is Joko's top international priority — two of our co-founders, Nico and Xavier, lead the International Expansion team from NYC, supported by Laura, our International Expansion Manager. You will report to Luisa, our Head of Brand & Communications (based in Barcelona), and partner daily with the Founders and the Expansion team to make sure our marketing genuinely lands with American consumers. 🎯 WHAT YOU WILL DO As US Marketing Manager, your mission is to make sure Joko's brand, campaigns, and content truly connect with American consumers. You will own end-to-end US-facing marketing execution (from CRM content production to campaign localization to merchandising) while staying tightly integrated with our Europe-based Marketing team. You will be the voice of the American user inside Joko, and the voice of Joko in the US market. * Own US CRM content end-to-end: You will write, produce, and ship localized email, push, and in-app content across the full customer journey (transactional, lifecycle, and promotional). You will work hand-in-hand with the global CRM team so every US-bound message feels native, culturally on point, and sent at the right moment. You will lean on AI tools to scale production without losing sharpness or brand voice. * Ship the full asset, not just the copy: You will design and adapt email visuals to match the content you create. This is not a copy-only role; you own the email end-to-end, from message to template. * Drive segmentation and targeting for US users: You will define behavioral and transactional segmentation strategies so the right users hear from us at the right time. You will partner with the central Content Factory and Ops teams to test, iterate, and improve performance. * Localize the US campaign calendar and merchandising: You will work with the Campaign & Merchandising team to adapt our campaign roadmap to the US retail calendar (Memorial Day, Back to School, Black Friday, and other key moments). You will tailor product highlights and merchandising logic to US shopping habits, so what we show feels native, not translated. * Be the voice of the US consumer inside Joko: You will bring sharp, opinionated insight on American shopping behavior and cultural nuance back to the Marketing team, informing not just your own work, but how the whole team thinks about the market as we scale internationally. 👀 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Experience: You have 3 to 5 years in consumer marketing, ideally in a high-growth tech or e-commerce environment, with a track record of owning CRM content end-to-end. * US market fluency: You have significant professional or lived experience in the US. You understand American consumer behavior, retail cycles, and cultural nuances at a level that translation alone cannot reach. * Content craft across channels: You write and ship content for email, push, in-app, and web that actually resonates — not generic copy, but messaging that converts and feels native to the audience. * AI-native: You use tools like GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity daily to scale content production while keeping it sharp and on-brand. You have strong opinions about what works and what does not. * Analytical mindset: You read campaign data fluently and translate it into smart, opinionated marketing decisions — not just reports. * Hands-on with the modern marketing stack: You are comfortable in CRM platforms like Customer.io or Braze, no-code site tools like Webflow, and design tools like Figma. You do not wait for someone else to ship. * Autonomous and well-organized: You are a self-starter who can own multiple workstreams in parallel without dropping the ball. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. * Languages: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. 💎 OUR PERKS (Some of the benefits listed below are available to full-time positions only) At Joko, we believe that flexibility and trust are essential. Our work environment reflects this through: * Flexible remote : If you live in Paris, you can choose to work from our office or from home with no constraints. If you live elsewhere, we can provide access to a coworking space and a coworking budget. * Work from anywhere : Want to spend a month in Italy while working? You can work from most countries in the world for up to 3 months per year. On top of that, we offer plenty of perks: * 💸 Top-market compensation * 📈 Equity for everyone with the chance to own a piece of what you build * 🤖 Half-day each week dedicated to leveling up with AI by exploring new tools, iterating hard, and sharpening your skills * 🌴 Yearly offsite in amazing locations and budget for team-building events & monthly in-person gatherings * 💪 Contribution to your ClassPass subscription * 🍼 8-week leave paid 100% for the second parent * …and much more, check the full list here! 🤝 OUR HIRING PROCESS 1. Intro call: Quick screening with the Hiring Manager or the Talent team. 2. Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): Conversation with two Joko team members (could include the Hiring Manager, people from the team you’d join, or colleagues from other teams). 3. Step 2 – Role-specific assessments * For non-engineering roles: A take-home case study followed by a 45-min interview. We assess both your output and how you think in real time. The exercise will be relevant to your role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design). * For engineering roles: A 90-min live technical interview on CoderPad covering code understanding, review, system design, and product thinking (with AI serving as a collaboration tool). 4. Step 3 – Leadership interview (45 min): Conversation with a SteerCo member and a Founder. 5. References: Up to 3 calls with former colleagues or managers. ☕ You may also be invited for coffee with team members to get a feel for our culture.
