About the Role As a Junior Accountant at Ogury, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, supporting the accuracy and efficiency of the processes that keep our global business running smoothly. Sitting within the Finance team, you will own a broad portfolio of responsibilities — from accounts payable and treasury management through to VAT compliance, fixed asset oversight, and month-end close activities. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that requires someone who can operate with precision across multiple workstreams simultaneously. You will play a key part in supporting our German and Swiss entities through procurement administration via our Yooz platform, and will work cross-functionally with colleagues across departments to ensure expenses and supplier payments are handled accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and takes pride in the quality of their work. As the FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the financial planning and analysis activities of the organisation. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will lead a team responsible for revenue accounting as well as the traditional FP&A responsibilities of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and providing insightful analysis to support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering actionable financial insights. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Provide regular variance analysis and financial reporting to senior management, highlighting key drivers of performance and identifying areas for improvement. * Partner with cross-functional teams to report on their KPIs. * Produce dashboards to track business performance and drive operational efficiencies that can be shared with key stakeholders at Senior Leadership level. * Work alongside the Financial Controller and reporting to the Head of Finance to manage the annual budgeting process by collaborating with department heads to develop detailed budgets aligned with strategic objectives. * Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to forecast company performance and analyse various scenarios. * Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to streamline reporting and enhance decision-making capabilities. While having a commercial mindset and focus, the successful candidate will have an appreciation of the importance of financial control. * Support strategic initiatives, including planning for fundraising, by conducting financial due diligence and integration planning. * Stay abreast of industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance, providing proactive insights to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities. * Manage a small team of people and oversee their responsibilities. Any experience in these areas will be beneficial but not essential. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? If you can demonstrate some of the following experience/skills below, we would love to hear from you. * We’re looking for someone who is 3-5 years post qualified with a strong advisory and/or corporate background who can support our growth. * Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. * Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and advanced skills in using Google Suite. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. * Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. * Experience of coaching and mentoring junior colleagues to build a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. * Experience with Netsuite is preferred. The individual will have responsibility for subsidiaries and is an excellent opportunity for a quick learner who is willing to challenge existing processes. The role is based in the London Financial Accounting team who have responsibility for maintaining the accurate accounting books and records for the Group’s UK based subsidiaries and a selection of overseas entities. The team is also responsible for legal entity board, regulatory and statutory reporting, and month end reporting to the Group Reporting team. This role involves liaising with the auditors and other teams within Finance and the organisation (locally and in our global offices), including Treasury, Tax, Group Reporting, Legal, Company Secretarial and Operations. This role will also assist with ad-hoc projects as required. Specific responsibilities * Perform monthly financial accounting activities for all entities within the individual’s area of responsibility, ensuring that the general ledger is accurate and complete and that all analytical reviews and balance sheet reconciliations have been completed and reviewed and review points are addressed * Prepare local GAAP statutory financial statements and tax returns for all relevant entities * Prepare regulatory returns for regulated entities, liaising with local regulatory advisors as required * Prepare board reporting for legal entities as required * Liaise with auditors and tax advisors, ensuring the delivery of information to support the preparation of local tax returns and other tax filings as required * Execution and ownership of centralised process such as fixed assets or transfer pricing * Ongoing liaison with other teams within Finance, including US and Swiss Financial Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Group Reporting and Finance Business Partners to support the delivery of information to and from them in a timely, accurate and efficient manner * Taking a proactive role in improving existing processes * Provide support and mentoring to junior staff * Supporting other Financial Control and Reporting initiatives and projects as required Key competencies * Accounting: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification * Experience: Good knowledge of financial accounting, including technical accounting * IT Skills: Must be computer literate with strong excel skills and have the ability to learn new systems Experience with general ledger systems would be advantageous * Interpersonal: Communication, organisation, and presentation skills together with the ability to confidently deal with multiple stakeholders * Other: Individual should have a pro-active attitude and be a quick learner with attention to detail Inclusion, Work-Life Balance and Benefits at Man Group You'll thrive in our working environment that champions equality of opportunity.
