We are looking for a Head of Finance to be the most senior finance hire at bunch as we rebuild our finance function from the
ground up. bunch has just closed its Series B, is actively acquisitive, runs multiple entities across geographies and is building
toward Series C and ultimately an exit. This role owns capital, forecasting, budgeting, investor reporting, M&A finance, and EPR
implementation and architects a function that scales from scrappy to exit-grade.
You will own the Finance function at a high-growth, VC-backed fintech at an inflection point, reporting to the General Counsel,
working directly with the founders and management team.
Your role
You'll run monthly variance reviews, drive quarterly budget control processes, challenge and sign off on procurement and vendor
requests, and translate business strategy into financial plans with clear KPIs and milestones.

About the Role The Head of Finance reports to the Chief Operating Officer and leads the finance function for a global business generating over $50M in revenue, with a growth trajectory toward $100M over the next 3–5 years. The finance function must scale with that trajectory, built to investor-grade standard and ahead of the curve the business is on. The role is accountable for financial planning, accounting, reporting, treasury, compliance, controls, and investor-facing outputs across a multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction environment. The role serves as the senior financial advisor to the CEO and COO on forecasting, liquidity, capital structure, financing strategy, investment decisions, and growth planning. Behavox has a mature M&A strategy in place as one of several growth levers, and the Head of Finance is expected to bring strong hands-on financial modelling capability to acquisition evaluation, financing analysis, scenario planning, and post-transaction financial integration planning. The Head of Finance is also accountable for building a scalable, AI-native finance function. This includes managing the finance team, maturing financial systems and processes, implementing end-to-end automation, integrating AI-enabled workflows, and improving the speed, accuracy, control, and maintainability of finance operations. What You'll Bring 1. Enterprise FP&A and financial model architecture – Knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, revenue planning, cash flow modelling, and investment analysis. Applies this knowledge to support executive decisions, M&A evaluation, financing strategy, and board, investor, and lender reporting. 2. Capital structure and treasury – Knowledge of financing instruments, liquidity planning, banking relationships, debt facilities, covenants, FX exposure, and cash controls. Applies this knowledge to support growth while managing funding risk, timing, and cost of capital. 3. Global accounting and multi-jurisdictional reporting – Knowledge of accounting standards, revenue recognition, consolidation, intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and financial controls across jurisdictions. Applies this knowledge to ensure financial outputs are accurate, consistent, and controlled. 4. Finance operating model and team leadership – Knowledge of how to structure finance teams, processes, systems, workflows, access controls, documentation, and operating cadences. Applies this knowledge to build a scalable and maintainable finance function with clear ownership and reduced key-person dependency. 5. AI-native finance systems and automation – Knowledge of finance systems, workflow automation, AI-enabled tooling, agentic processes, and data flows across financial operations. Applies this knowledge to identify, assess, and implement technology that improves accuracy, efficiency, control, and scalability. What You'll Do 1. Finance function leadership – Leads the finance team and owns the finance operating model across FP&A, accounting, reporting, treasury, controls, compliance, and investor relations. Holds ultimate accountability for output quality, role clarity, control discipline, and scalability. 2. Financial modelling and strategic analysis – Personally owns the quality and logic of the company’s core financial models. Reviews, challenges, and helps the team refine models used for forecasting, M&A, financing, scenario planning, and executive decision-making. 3. Budgeting, revenue planning, and performance reporting – Drives the annual budget, re-forecasting cadence, and management reporting process. Ensures Sales, RevOps, People, and Finance inputs are translated into controlled planning outputs, including pipeline-to-revenue bridges, personnel budgets, non-personnel budgets, commissions accruals, opex and capex. 4. Treasury and capital planning oversight – Oversees cash forecasting, liquidity planning, banking relationships, costs controls, payment controls, debt facilities, covenant reporting, FX exposure, and financing analysis. Provides senior judgement on capital structure, financing timing, and cost of capital. 5. Close, audit, compliance, and automation governance – Holds ultimate accountability for close, consolidation, audit readiness, statutory compliance, accounting policy application, transfer pricing coordination, and investor reporting. Ensures the team has the systems, controls, automation, documentation, and advisor support required to execute consistently. Term: 18mth Fixed Term Contract Location: London Job purpose: In this fixed-term transformation role, the Head of Finance Operations will lead the end-to-end modernisation of the organisation’s Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll functions. The primary mandate is to develop and transition global financial operations into a streamlined, scalable model that ensures rigorous compliance and efficiency. Reporting to the Deputy CFO, this London-based position will lead the functional teams through this period of change, establishing a robust operational framework for the future. A key focus of this role is to optimise, standardise, and automate finance processes to strengthen controls, improve service quality, and ensure deadlines are consistently met. Special focus will be on the need to operationalise the Global Payroll project as it moves from project to business as usual. The role will also establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Finance Operations services. Principal accountabilities: Leadership & Management * This role is a senior role within the finance team and as such will be expected to lead and develop teams, fostering a high performance culture, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Ensure effective resource planning and workload management to meet business deadlines and service expectations. * Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders including Procurement, HR, Treasury, and Financial Control. This includes providing support during any audits. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable * Manage the team responsible for the end-to-end AP process and AR processes. * Maintain robust controls and monitor the performance of key SLA’s and KPI’s. Payroll * Manage the Global Payroll team and oversee the accurate and timely processing of all payroll activities. * Build and maintain a clear and effective end to end payroll process addressing both standard and complex payrolls. * Lead the payroll related processes and activities required from any Global Mobility queries or requests triggered by the HR team. * Onboard and lead the set up and execution of any additional payrolls or shadow payrolls around the world as required. * Ensure compliance with all relevant employment tax and payroll compliance legislation. Track the performance of the external payroll providers and drive performance improvement initiatives as required. * Partner with HR to ensure payroll inputs are complete, validated, and aligned with contractual and policy requirements. Process Optimisation & Automation * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Finance Operations to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance control. * Identify opportunities for automation through technology, workflow tools, and system enhancements. * Standardise processes and documentation to ensure consistency and reduce operational risk. Controls, Compliance & Reporting * Ensure statutory, regulatory, and internal policy compliance across AP, AR, and Payroll. * Develop and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to measure performance and service quality. * Prepare regular reporting for senior management on operational performance, risks, and improvement initiatives. Systems & Technology * Lead the Finance System activities within the Finance team for enhancements or maintenance to the Finance systems (primarily ERP, Reporting etc) * Act as a senior stakeholder in finance systems improvements and upgrades. * Ensure systems are used effectively and teams are trained to maximise capability. * Collaborate with IT and system providers to address issues and optimise workflows. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Qualifications * Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business operations desirable. Knowledge & Experience * Extensive experience leading Finance Operations functions in either AP, AR, or Payroll. * Demonstrable experience driving process improvement, automation, and operational excellence. * Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance requirements, and best practice frameworks. * Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, multi-location, multi-currency environment and delivering to strict deadlines. * Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central), CRM (Salesforce), Webshop and workflow/automation tools. * Proven track record in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
