This is an opportunity to lead and evolve the future of valuations at the bank. The business is looking to move beyond a single NPV model approach towards a broader and more sophisticated suite of valuation tools that better support decision making across the lending lifecycle.

The Chief of Staff to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a senior operator who oversees the operations of a 300+-person global marketing organization. You will design and own the operating system that enables MongoDB's marketing function to scale and move with speed, alignment, and discipline. You will represent the CMO across the org and resolve cross-functional friction without escalation. This role can be based out of our New York City, Palo Alto, or San Francisco office. WHAT YOU WILL OWN * Operating system — design and run the operating cadence for the marketing organization. Marketing Leadership Team meetings, QBRs, offsites, board prep, and executive readouts, ensuring milestones and key deliverables are met. Decisions happen on schedule. Alignment is built in, not chased * Workback planning and risk management — for every major moment (board prep, earnings, QBRs, offsites, executive reviews), build the schedule working back to account for the milestones that ensure all stakeholders and owners are aligned on what needs to happen and when. You know when to surface risk early enough to allow for course correction * Leverage and representation — This role operates as an extension of the CMO in key settings. Attend leadership and cross-functional forums, provide direction, and make decisions with the core goals in mind; Close the loop on commitments across a complex matrixed environment * Cross-functional resolution — broker alignment between marketing functions and between marketing and the Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer, and Finance organizations * Strategic initiatives — Partner with DRI’s who own high-priority cross-functional projects, assisting them with defining and delivering the initiative * Organizational health and governance — lead budget, headcount, and operating model governance in partnership with FP&A and People; Track spend / investment against priorities and surface risks early * Executive communications — draft the most important written communications, including board materials, all-hands content, leadership updates, and strategic narratives * Milestone tracking across Marketing evaluations — own the system that tracks every Marketing-owned conversation, business performance, and decision point; Monthly trajectory reviews so decisions are made with evidence, not gut. Surface drift before it becomes a problem WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * 8-12 years across top-tier management consulting and/or senior operating roles inside high-growth B2B SaaS companies * Proven experience as Chief of Staff, Head of Marketing /Business/Sales Operations, or senior strategy and operations leader at a $1B+ revenue technology company * Demonstrated ability to operate at the executive level — you have been in executive staff meetings and cross-functional forums. You know how to navigate without authority * Exceptional written communicator — board-ready output with crisp narratives and the ability to translate complex strategy into simple messages * AI-native operator — you use AI fluently across drafting, synthesis, and analysis. You think in agents and automation, not just prompts. You bring this capability to the role from day one * Strong systems thinker — you see how the pieces fit together and design for scale, not for the current moment * Low ego, high judgment — you do not need credit, you are focused on moving the org to move forward by building collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization, and managing through influence to get work done * High EQ — you are capable of reading the room, anticipating friction, and can broker alignment before issues escalate * Discretion at the executive level — Operate as the trusted confidant of the CMO WHAT THIS IS NOT This is not a project management role. This is a senior operator role for someone who wants to be at the center of how a world-class marketing organization runs and scales.
