The Infrastructure team is responsible for the management, security, and reliability of QRT’s global technology platforms. The
team works closely with Infrastructure Engineering, Security, Operations, Compliance, and Trading Support teams to ensure
infrastructure services remain secure, compliant, and operationally resilient. This role focuses on coordinating Linux patching
and lifecycle management activities across a global Linux estate, ensuring security, stability, and compliance requirements are
met while minimising operational risk.

The Enterprise Infrastructure team is responsible for designing, operating, and evolving QRT’s global enterprise technology platforms. The team ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of core infrastructure services that support corporate systems, identity platforms, collaboration tools, and shared technology services across regions. Your Future Role within QRT * Define and drive the enterprise infrastructure roadmap aligned with firm-wide technology strategy * Lead the design and evolution of highly available, secure, and scalable on-prem infrastructure platforms (compute, storage, network, virtualization) * Own operational resilience, including high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity frameworks * Establish and oversee SLAs, SLOs, operational KPIs, and incident governance processes * Drive automation initiatives across provisioning, patching, compliance, and monitoring * Promote Infrastructure-as-Code and standardization across global environments * Partner with Security to enforce hardening standards, vulnerability management, and access controls * Collaborate with Application, Workplace Technology, Architecture, and Risk teams on enterprise initiatives * Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers across regions * Manage vendor relationships, lifecycle planning, and infrastructure capacity management Your Present Skillset * 10+ years’ experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, including leadership responsibility * Broad knowledge of Linux and/or Windows systems administration * Broad knowledge of virtualization platforms, enterprise storage, networking, and core infrastructure services * Proven experience operating global enterprise platforms (e.g., identity services, collaboration tools, file services) * Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) * Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability practices * Experience operating within regulated or controlled environments * Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and drive infrastructure transformation initiatives * Strong ownership mindset with a structured and risk-aware approach to decision-making * Clear communicator and excellent collaborator, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders * Experience leading modernization or large-scale infrastructure refresh programs is a plus QRT is an equal opportunity employer. Your Future Role within QRT You will join the global infrastructure team, responsible for QRT’s Linux estate, including trading infrastructure and low-latency platforms. The team works closely with application and support functions to deliver secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions for the business. * Manage and evolve QRT’s Linux platform to support global trading environments * Work with application and support teams to maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure * Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks, tools, and processes * Contribute to the development of monitoring and observability capabilities * Analyse and tune performance across systems, networks, and applications * Support build/release management processes * Collaborate within a version-controlled development environment Your Present Skillset * Strong expertise in Linux (preferably Red Hat–based distributions) * Experience building and administering large-scale or latency-sensitive platforms * Extensive experience with architecture and long-term evolution of automation and configuration management systems (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef) * Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Splunk, Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana) * Experience with build/release management systems. * Solid programming skills in Python and Bash (C/C++ is a plus) * Detailed understanding of server network stack, network protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, IGMP, LAN and WAN technologies) * Experience of performance analysis and tuning * Experience working in a collaborative development environment using source control * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Effective communication and teamwork skills QRT is an equal opportunity employer. Your future role within QRT * A key member of the global Market Access (MA) team, building and enhancing market access systems for all spectrums of QRT trading business. * You will cover design, development, validation, deployment, and production support of QRT's trading gateways and market data handlers to global exchanges and brokers. * Ownership of exchange upgrades and broker onboardings, including gap analysis, development, and validation/certifications, which may require frequent communications with external exchanges, brokers and third-party providers. * Opportunities to work on low-latency aspects of the MA systems. * You will be exposed to or work on surrounding upstream and downstream systems. * You will be working with almost all teams in QRT, including quantitative analysts/developers, traders, operations, compliance, risk officers in addition to all IT teams. Your present skillset * Minimum 5 years of C++ development on Linux platform. * Python and bash scripting skills essential. * Experience designing and implementing multithreaded and distributed systems. * Experience of exchange trading gateways and/or market data feed handlers. * Experience with FIX trading protocol advantageous. * Good knowledge of financial products desirable. * Experience in low latency optimization and tuning techniques advantageous. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential. * Being a motivated team player, with excellent problem-solving skills.
