Full-time
In office 4 days/week
Why This Role
Payments might not sound glamorous, but the scale of what moves through Modulr's platform speaks for itself. The products you'll
own are live, used daily by real businesses and the problems are technically challenging. You'll have real ownership, a short line
to decisions and room to shape things. No endless approval chains and no building for the sake of it.
Who We Are
Modulr is the payments automation platform that streamlines money movement with accuracy, control and reliability – built to
scale. We process more than 200m transactions and over £180bn in payment value on an annualised basis, and we're trusted by over
6,000 businesses from fast-growing SMEs to global enterprises.
We automate how money moves into and out of a business – payroll, supplier payments, spend management and payment collection –
through a single platform, connected to the accounting and payroll systems finance teams already use and underpinned by principal
memberships of Visa and Mastercard and direct access to central bank infrastructure.
As a regulated payments provider with over a decade of experience, we're the platform finance teams trust to run mission-critical
operations. Modulr is backed by PayPal, FIS, General Atlantic, Blenheim Chalcot, Frog Capital and Highland Europe, with over 400
employees across London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam and Mumbai.

What You'll Do
This is a product role with real ownership. You will sit within Modulr's vertical solutions team, building and scaling payment
products for defined B2B market segments. The team works across a range of verticals, and you will own a product area end to end,
working across APIs, dashboards, partner integrations, and payment flows. The verticals differ but the craft is the same: deep
customer understanding, sharp product thinking, and focus on commercial outcome.
Own your product area - end-to-end ownership from discovery through to launch and performance management. You will write
ROI-driven roadmaps, operate as Product Owner in your squad, and drive delivery across APIs, dashboards, portals, reports, and
partner integrations.
Go deep with customers and partners - develop a thorough understanding of the payment processes and customer needs in your
vertical. Use those insights to build solutions that improve efficiency, lower costs, and accelerate time to payment, and manage
the partner relationships that sit alongside your product.
Operate with commercial clarity - own your product area's performance against agreed metrics and KPIs. Understand your cost base,
input into pricing strategy, and communicate your roadmap and its value clearly to the CPO and Product Director.
Land things properly - work closely with sales, demand gen, and product marketing to drive effective launches and sustained
traction. Make sure all cross-functional implications, across ops, risk, compliance, and data, are resolved before go-live.

ABOUT US Bondsmith is a fast growing digital cash savings platform focused on helping customers make the most of their money by offering access to a wide range of savings products. We work with financial institutions like wealth managers, fintechs, banks, and advisors, providing them with tools to get better returns on cash, engage more effectively with clients, and simplify their operations. Our goal is to help savers get the most out of their cash. At Bondsmith, our core values are rapid and continuous improvement, delivering good customer outcomes, and taking end to end ownership. Our team is made up of experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering excellent service and finding new ways to solve challenges in financial services. Joining us means working in a fast-paced environment where you will be making an impact on the financial lives of thousands of savers. We’re regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK. Job Title: Product Manager Location: London, N1 Reports To: Head of Product Contract: Full-time, Permanent Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our Product team. What you'll do * Work across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Business Development to define and ship product features that matter * Turn ambiguous business problems into clear, sprint-ready requirements — user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases and all * Own UAT, catching issues before they reach customers * Manage relationships with enterprise clients — acting as a trusted, responsive point of contact who can navigate complex organisations and keep delivery on track * Keep internal stakeholders aligned and informed without over-engineering the process * Use data and customer insight to make decisions and measure what's working What we're looking for * You have 3–5 years of product management experience, ideally within B2B fintech, financial services, or regulated platforms * You’ve worked in Agile environments and know how to write requirements that developers can actually use * You’re comfortable with both API and file-based integration patterns — you understand REST API design and consumption, and you’ve worked with batch file processes (SFTP, CSV) of the kind that large financial institutions depend on * You think about UX at every layer, not just the interface — from how an API response is structured to how an end user moves through a flow * You're customer-obsessed — you dig into the why behind requests, not just the what * You're comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and iterating from there * You take ownership end-to-end. If something falls through the cracks, you notice and fix it * You can hold a lot in your head — understanding how features interact with systems, compliance constraints, and partner needs simultaneously * You communicate with precision and adapt your style to the audience — whether that’s a technical lead, a compliance team, or a C-suite contact at a large institution * You’re highly organised — you track open threads, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch * You have experience managing enterprise or institutional clients — you understand how large organisations make decisions and know how to build trust while keeping delivery moving The reality of the role This is a high-ownership position at a scaling startup that serves large, complex institutions. You’ll need to move fast and ship with confidence while managing the expectations and processes that come with enterprise clients. There will be ambiguity, competing priorities, and problems without obvious answers. If that’s where you do your best work, we’d love to hear from you. Why Join Bondsmith? * Bondsmith is a fintech success story in the making. We’re a small, focused team delivering real value to major enterprise clients, and the demand for what we’re building continues to grow. As an early joiner, you’ll have the rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact, shape the future of our products, and grow alongside the company. If you're excited by high-growth environments and want your work to matter, Bondsmith is the place to be. Company Benefits * Competitive salary 💸 * Hybrid working (average of 3 days a week expected in office) * Healthcare 🏥 * Pension scheme 💰 * Share scheme participation 📈 * All the right equipment to make sure you’re working at your best 💻 * Deliveroo for working late in the office 🍔
