At SumUp, we’re on a mission to empower small businesses globally – while building meaningful connections between merchants and
their customers.
Within the Consumer Tribe, the Consumer Bank squad is at the heart of one of SumUp's most exciting growth bets – scaling SumUp Pay
to an ambitious Monthly Active User target.
The team designs end-to-end experiences across the full user lifecycle: from onboarding and account activation to driving
engagement through features like Spaces, Open Banking insights, and budget tracking. Every design decision directly shapes whether
a user becomes an active, loyal customer.
We're building in a competitive neobank landscape where the bar for craft and intuitive journeys is high – and the opportunity to
make a real impact is real. If you're excited about designing in a high-growth environment where your work reaches users across
Europe and directly moves the needle on adoption and retention, this is the team for you.
As a Senior Product Designer working alongside other designers in this team, you’ll be embedded in a cross-functional squad
alongside Product Managers and Engineers, owning end-to-end design from discovery through delivery. Design plays a critical role
here – not just in execution, but in defining the problems worth solving. The team works with a strong focus on user research,
hypothesis-driven design, and continuous iteration, ensuring that every design decision is grounded in real user needs and
measurable impact.
You’ll contribute to high-impact areas of the product where thoughtful design directly influences key metrics like activation,
engagement, and conversion. At the same time, you’ll help evolve our design system and ensure consistency and quality across the
experience, especially as SumUp undergoes a broader brand transformation and scales its consumer offering.
This is a team that values strong design thinking, autonomy, and collaboration – where designers are empowered to challenge
assumptions, shape product direction, and deliver meaningful outcomes in a fast-moving, product-driven environment.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes. 1,000+ customers across 50+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $100M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI and Graceview. We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law. Joining Legora means three things. * We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions. * We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback. * We grow together: as a team and with our customers. Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts. If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place. The Role We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our Core User Experience team. This team owns many of the central pillars of the Legora platform, the connective tissue that every user touches every day: navigation, onboarding, personalization, notifications, global search, and the workflow library, among other foundational pieces. Your mandate is simple to state and hard to do well: make Legora dramatically easier and more delightful to use. You’ll drive activation and retention by removing friction, sharpening the everyday experience, and helping legal professionals get to value faster. This is a high-leverage, high-visibility role at the heart of the product, working closely with design, engineering, and the wider org. What You'll Do * Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Core UX surface area: navigation, onboarding, personalization, notifications, global search, the workflow library, and other central parts of the platform. * Move our north-star activation and retention metrics by making the product easier to adopt and more delightful to use over time. * Partner closely with design and engineering to ship polished, high-quality user-facing experiences with a strong bar for craft. * Run experiments across the user journey, instrument the right metrics, and turn data and qualitative insight into a prioritized roadmap. * Deeply understand how legal professionals work, and translate their needs into intuitive, opinionated product decisions. * Lead onboarding and first-run experiences that get new users to their first “aha” moment quickly. * Collaborate with our legal engineers and the broader org to ensure a coherent, consistent experience as the platform grows. What You Bring * An experienced, senior Product Manager with a strong background building products at high-growth B2B SaaS companies * A track record of building UI and consumer-grade experiences at a company known for strong design taste; you have a sharp eye for craft, even if you’re not a designer yourself. * Hands-on experience with growth work: thinking deliberately about activation, adoption, retention, and the experimentation and metrics that drive them. * Strong product judgment and the ability to balance qualitative insight with quantitative rigor. * Excellent collaboration skills, with a history of partnering tightly with design, engineering and other functions to ship products. * High standards, low ego, and a bias toward ownership and outcomes. * A genuine interest in making complex software feel simple, fast, and enjoyable. Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer At Legora, we believe great teams are built on diversity of thought and experience. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work. We welcome people of all backgrounds and don’t discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

The Head of Design is accountable for building and leading a high-performing design organisation, driving innovation through AI-augmented design practices, and ensuring that design functions as a strategic capability that de-risks business decisions through rapid prototyping, consumer research, and evidence-based experimentation. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Executive Partnership • Define and own the design vision and strategy for the organisation, ensuring design is embedded at the centre of product development, content strategy, and commercial decision-making. • Partner directly with the CEO, Chief Strategy Officer, and senior leadership team on company-direction initiatives, contributing design perspective to business strategy, market positioning, and growth planning. • Lead the transformation of the design function from a production-oriented service into a Research & Development capability, where every strategic bet is validated through design-led prototyping and consumer evidence before full investment. • Represent Design at executive forums, board presentations, and cross-functional leadership meetings, advocating for user-centred decision-making and design-led innovation. Design Organisation & Team Leadership • Build, lead, and develop a multidisciplinary design team of approximately 10 professionals spanning product design, UX research, and consumer insights. • Establish and maintain design hiring standards, career progression frameworks, and professional development programmes to attract and retain top design talent. • Foster a culture of design excellence, creative rigour, and continuous learning within the team and across the broader organisation. • Drive AI adoption and AI-augmented design workflows across the team, achieving high levels of productivity through modern tooling and automated processes. Innovation & AI Integration • Pioneer the integration of AI and machine learning into the design workflow, including AI-first design systems that connect design components directly to AI coding tools to eliminate inconsistencies and accelerate development. • Lead the development of LLM-optimised content templates and information architectures that ensure content is structured for both human consumption and machine-readable citation by large language models. • Drive design innovation through rapid prototyping, consumer testing, and iterative experimentation, enabling the organisation to validate ideas at low cost before committing engineering resources. • Identify and evaluate emerging design technologies, tools, and methodologies that can provide competitive advantage. Required Skills & Qualifications • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing design teams within technology, media, or financial services organisations. • Demonstrated ability to operate at a strategic level, influencing business direction and product strategy alongside C-suite executives. • Deep expertise in design systems, component architectures, and scalable design practices for multi-product digital platforms. • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application to design workflows, content strategy, and product innovation. • Expert proficiency in Figma and modern design tooling, with working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React/TypeScript) and data-informed design practices. • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate design thinking into commercial value. • Experience with consumer financial services, comparison platforms, or content-led digital products is highly desirable.
