Heart is targeting type certification of the ES-30 by the end of the decade. Your mission: Heart’s Production and Integration team is seeking a Buyer to support the procurement of electrical, mechanical, fasteners, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing parts while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery to support aircraft manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and suppliers to maintain a reliable and efficient supply chain within a highly regulated aerospace environment. As a key member of the Operations team, this is a high-impact, high-visibility role suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments and is motivated to help drive innovation in the aerospace industry. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Source and procure electrical, mechanical, fasteners, and COTS components to support production and engineering requirements. * Issue purchase orders and manage the full order lifecycle from placement through delivery. * Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms. * Establish and onboard vendors in accounts payable systems; develop and maintain an approved vendor list; support supplier audits and site visits. * Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and cost targets are met. * Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality to ensure parts meet specifications and regulatory requirements. * Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data within ERP/MRP systems. * Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to support business needs and scalability. * Resolve supply chain issues including shortages, delays, and quality concerns. * Drive cost reduction initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and aerospace regulations. * This position operates in a professional office environment with regular interaction with manufacturing and engineering teams. Occasional supplier visits may be required. Skills & Requirements: You'll Bring These Qualifications for the Buyer position: * 2+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. * Familiarity with technical components (electrical, mechanical, fasteners, COTS). * Experience with ERP/MRP systems. * Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Strong supplier relationship management. * Cost awareness(budget) and analytical thinking. Base Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000 USD.

Your mission We are building hybrid-electric aircrafts and are establishing an in-house machine shop to support prototype, tooling, and early production efforts. We are seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist who will be the first hire in the machine shop. You will have an opportunity to play a key role in shaping machining processes, standards, and culture. This is a hands-on role requiring deep experience machining large aluminum structural components, developing robust processes, and transitioning work from prototype through low-rate production. The ideal candidate brings strong technical judgment, takes pride in craftsmanship, and operates with an unwavering commitment to safety and equipment care. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Program, set up, and operate CNC machines for prototype, tooling, and low-rate production components * Machine components of various materials (Alum, SS, Steels, Ti) of varying heat treatments. Main categories include large aluminum structural parts, battery and electrical housing development components, and miscellaneous test tooling components. * Develop CNC programs using Autodesk Fusion (CAM) * Operate and support: * Haas VF-4 3-axis mills * Haas UMC-750 5-axis mills * Design and build fixtures and work holding, and perform complete machine setups. * Complete machining operations through first article inspection. * Develop tool lists and machining strategies that prioritize safety, accuracy, surface quality, and cost effectiveness * Utilize Renishaw probing systems (tool setter and part probe) for setup, in-process verification, and inspection * Support manual mill and lathe work for quick-turn prototype parts, tooling, and fixturing. * Perform saw operations to prepare raw material as required and perform final deburr including edge-breaks, polish and thread work as required. * Apply strong understanding of GD&T, datum structures, and inspection methods to ensure parts meet engineering intent * Perform first-article inspections and support quality documentation * Work closely with manufacturing and design engineers to influence DFM and process development * Help establish shop best practices, standard work, and workflows as the shop grows Safety, Organization & Culture * Maintain an extremely high standard of safety — safety is the number one priority * Take ownership of equipment care, preventive maintenance, and proper machine use * Keep tooling, fixtures, and work areas organized and clearly labeled * Support and help build a 5S / Lean manufacturing environment * Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to step in where needed Skills & Requirements: You'll Bring These Qualifications for CNC Programmer/Machinist * 5+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing * Significant experience machining large aluminum structural components * Strong proficiency with Autodesk Fusion CAM * High level of skill operating Haas VF-series 3-axis and Haas 5-axis mills * Hands-on experience with Renishaw tool and part probing * Experience designing fixtures and executing full machine setups * Solid understanding of GD&T, datum structuring, and inspection techniques * Experience with manual mill and lathe operations * Ability to work independently and make sound machining and process decisions These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have: * Aerospace manufacturing experience * Experience supporting both prototype and low-rate production environments * Familiarity with scaling machining processes toward higher-rate production * Experience establishing or growing a machine shop function Why This Role * Be the first machinist hire and help shape the future of the machine shop * Work directly on a first-of-its-kind hybrid-electric aircraft program * High level of ownership, autonomy, and technical influence * Collaborative, engineering-driven environment Pay Range: $40/HR—$56/HR (USD)

Your mission We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Integration Engineer to lead the mechanical and electrical integration of critical subsystems across our hybrid-electric aircraft platform. You will be responsible for bridging design, manufacturing, final assembly, and testing to ensure that complex systems come together seamlessly from prototype through rate production. This is a cross-disciplinary role at the heart of aircraft development, where attention to detail, fast-paced execution, and strong problem-solving instincts are key. You’ll work side-by-side with design engineers, manufacturing, and technicians on the production floor to turn ambitious designs into high-performance, certifiable products. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: System Integration & Assembly * Own the integration of propulsion, battery, avionics, and structural systems into the aircraft platform * Define and document build sequences, mechanical interfaces, fastener strategies, cable routing, and fluid line installations * Support and optimize aircraft-level assembly processes, from first article to full-rate production Design Collaboration & DFM * Provide real-time design-for-assembly feedback to design engineering teams * Influence interface definitions, mounting strategies, and accessibility for maintainability * Drive resolution of interface issues between subsystems during development and build Build Floor & Hands-On Support * Act as the technical liaison on the build floor to troubleshoot integration issues and lead root cause investigations * Support technicians during assembly with guidance, documentation, and process improvements * Ensure that integration work meets engineering intent, quality standards, and certification requirements Process Development & Continuous Improvement * Create and maintain detailed work instructions, assembly drawings, and configuration documentation * Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline assembly processes * Support integration testing and data collection during system bring-up and aircraft checkout Your place of work will be at our office located in Torrance, CA.
