The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Design Engineer to join our Local Product Support team. In this role, you will provide hands-on engineering expertise, contribute to product care activities, and support both internal and external stakeholders with technical solutions. You will work closely both with our teams in the factory and global product support to secure high-quality performance of our products.

How You Will Make an Impact

Deliver high-quality technical expertise and hands-on troubleshooting of complex issues across the organization.

High level technical investigations and testing

Identify and implement mechanical product improvements, to enhance performance and manufacturability.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including test instructions and standard testing procedures to ensure consistent product quality.

Prepare and maintain technical documents and drawings to enable quality assurance and meet regulatory or customer requirements.

Act as a key link between R&D, Global Product Support, and the Factory, ensuring smooth communication, knowledge transfer, and alignment across teams.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments and with external customers and suppliers to understand needs, resolve issues, and deliver technical solutions that add value.

Your Background

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience required.

Hands-on experience in mechanical tasks, particularly in breaker development and product care.

Proficiency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.

Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Solution-oriented and supportive mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Skilled in using CREO or other 3D CAD programs for mechanical design and development.
