About the Role At Alpha, you will be pivotal in leading engagements to identify and implement solutions for a range of issues facing asset and wealth managers. Over the course of each project, you will collect and analyze data, prepare and test hypotheses, and present recommendations to the client to solve their unique business & technology challenges. Experience in specialized domains such as Trading, Risk, Research, Investment Operations, or Performance/Attribution is highly valued. * Outstanding presentation, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders from senior executives and investment leaders to operations and technology teams. Must be comfortable leading executive-level workshops, steering committees, and program forums. * Proven track record in client relationship development and business growth, including leading or supporting business development efforts, contributing to proposals and thought leadership, and helping to expand the firm’s Investment Practice footprint across both existing and new clients. * Excellent consulting and analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with structured consulting frameworks, quantitative modeling, and hypothesis-driven methodologies. Ability to synthesize complex issues into clear, compelling narratives supported by high-quality deliverables. * Strong understanding of investment products and asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Alternatives, with the ability to translate investment and business needs into operating and technology design requirements. * Knowledge of leading industry platforms and data ecosystems, such as BlackRock Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Charles River/State Street Alpha Data Platform, Bloomberg AIM, FactSet, MSCI, and other specialized tools supporting the investment lifecycle. * Understanding of enterprise platform workflows and integration points across order management, risk, performance, reference data, client reporting, and data governance domains. * Proven delivery experience, ideally having served as a Program or Workstream Lead on complex, multi-phase change initiatives. Compensation and Perks: The anticipated base salary for this role varies based on geographic location and is structured across three compensation zones. These zones reflect local market conditions and cost of labor. Geographic placement is determined by the employee’s primary work location. Zone A | $196,000 – $239,400 Applies to candidates working in designated high-cost metropolitan areas, including: Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Boston, MA; New York City, NY; and Washington, DC, as well as remote roles based in Massachusetts or the New York Tri-State Area. Zone B | $178,000 - $216,600 Applies to candidates working in key metropolitan markets, including: Austin, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Charlotte, NC; Denver, CO; and Philadelphia, PA, as well as remote roles based in Texas, California, Pennsylvania, Florida, or Colorado. Zone C | $168,500 – $207,100 Applies to all other U.S. locations not listed above. Toronto | CAD 216,500 - CAD 299,250 Applies to candidates working in the Toronto region Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and work location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
