ABOUT THE JOB Are you interested in challenging projects, technical innovation, implementing new ideas and solving complex problems? Our software, "Miles", is an ERP software for finance, leasing, fleet and mobility management in the automotive industry. It is a complex end-to-end solution that includes front, mid and back office functions and can be extensively customized to the customer's needs through configuration. Our customers are leasing and financing companies from the automotive industry. You will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary unit and play an important role in creating, configuring, and assembling the foundational components of Sofico’s solution to support and enhance business processes. By collaborating closely with clients and project teams, you will design, implement, and deliver tailored solutions that meet the customer needs. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: * Analyze and refine customer requirements into detailed functional and system specifications. * Assess existing Miles functionality and propose effective solution directions. * Develop, execute and document configuration solution designs in collaboration with stakeholders. * Conduct unit testing to ensure quality and reliability of configured solutions. * Ensure timely delivery and successful handover of solutions to customers. * Support data migration, document management, and reporting from an in-depth understanding of customer solutions. * Collaborate with Product Managers to align project solutions with the product’s roadmap and future developments. What the job is about As a backend Software Engineer Microservices, your role involves expanding and enhancing our leading ‘Miles Enterprise’ solution. Miles offers a secure and cloud-native platform for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management. Your expertise & experience are highly valued in our multidisciplinary agile product team. By mentoring and coaching the less experienced engineers, you will elevate the team to the next level. Furthermore, you will become part of our internal software engineering community, which connects Software Engineers from across the organization worldwide. Your responsibilities include: * Translating domain models into (micro)service architectures. * Collaborating with internal API consumers using a domain-driven-design approach and integrating with external systems through tasks such as database design, data access & ORMs. * Developing scalable and cloud-native solutions, utilizing modern development and DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization & automated testing. * Prioritizing a security-first approach when implementing features and changes in the SSDLC (Secure Software Development Life Cycle) process. WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT As a Business Analyst, you are the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, transforming customer goals and challenges into structured business and functional requirements. Your role spans the full lifecycle of projects, from preparation and design to delivery and post-go-live support, ensuring solutions align with stakeholder expectations and industry standards. Your responsibilities will include: Business Process Analysis and Design: • Mapping and analyzing current business processes and designing future-state processes. • Developing and maintaining business process models. • Proposing process improvements and assessing their organizational and technical impact. Requirements Gathering and Analysis: • Identifying, analyzing, and translating stakeholder needs into structured requirements. • Conducting workshops to refine and validate requirements with stakeholders and end users. • Collaborating with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. • Assisting Product Owners at customer side in managing and prioritizing the project backlog.
