Roboyo AI is a category shaper in Applied AI and Agentic Automation. We help leading enterprises move from automation projects and AI experiments into governed, production-grade systems that execute real work across workflows, processes, products and services. Our heritage is in scaled enterprise automation; our future is Applied AI and Agentic Automation: autonomous agents, AI engineering squads, process orchestration, data and knowledge foundations, and human-in-the-loop governance embedded deeply into how our clients operate. We are not here to sell AI theatre. We are here to turn AI into working systems, measurable outcomes and repeatable transformation programs. ABOUT THE ROLE You will join our Delivery team as a Testing Lead/Architect. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between technical excellence and strategic delivery leadership. You will own the end-to-end design, strategy, and execution of robust Test Automation solutions leveraging the UiPath Testing platform across multiple client engagements. As an L4 Leader, you are a hands-on expert who can still "dive into the weeds," but your primary focus will be setting engineering standards, overseeing project quality, managing risk, and mentoring a high-performing team of Testing engineers. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring quality at scale. For the first engagement you will be acting as a Regional Testing Lead embedded in an active banking Test Delivery engagement. You will serve as the primary technical quality owner, applying deep UiPath Test Suite expertise to architect and execute automated test solutions that drive quality across a large-scale programme. You will act as the trusted technical bridge between client stakeholders, Functional Business Analysts, and the wider engineering team — ensuring every test scenario is grounded in real banking logic and delivered to the highest automation standard. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Leadership & Architecture * Test Strategy Ownership: Define and own the end-to-end test automation strategy across the engagement — covering scope, framework design, risk-based test coverage, and quality gates at each delivery milestone. * Framework Governance: Architect, govern, and continuously improve reusable automation frameworks leveraging UiPath Test Suite / Test Cloud (Test Manager, Test Automation activities, + REFramework). Set non-negotiable standards for modularity, maintainability, and scalability. * Technical Escalation: Act as the final technical escalation point for the team — resolving complex defects, integration failures, tool-chain issues, and architectural blockers that Testing Engineers cannot resolve independently. * Innovation & Platform Awareness: Stay current with UiPath platform developments — particularly AI-powered testing, Agentic Automation, and UiPath Test Cloud capabilities — and translate these into improved delivery approaches for clients. Delivery & Quality Management * End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Manage the full test lifecycle from planning through execution, defect management, and technical sign-off — ensuring quality outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with banking regulatory requirements. * Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify testing risks, scope creep, and delivery blockers. Implement mitigation plans before issues escalate to client leadership, maintaining a clear risk register throughout the engagement. * Banking Domain Quality: Apply a working understanding of core banking workflows — payments, account management, lending, GL, and regulatory reporting — to ensure test coverage reflects real business risk, not just functional requirements. * Metrics & Reporting: Define and track testing KPIs (coverage, defect escape rate, automation ROI, cycle time) and present clear, data-driven quality status to client stakeholders at regular cadences. Hands-On Testing Delivery * Requirement Translation: Partner with Functional Business Analysts and client SMEs to ensure business requirements and banking process logic are fully and accurately reflected in test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices. * Development: Support in the Design, development, testing, and deployment of end-to-end Test Automation workflows leveraging UiPath Test Suite / Test Cloud (Test Manager, Test Automation, Studio). * QA: Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards and maintain design specifications, test reports, and runbooks Client & Stakeholder Management * Primary Technical Client Point of Contact: Serve as the lead technical representative in client meetings — translating complex testing outcomes, risks, and architectural decisions into language accessible to non-technical banking stakeholders and programme leadership. * Delivery Coordination: Manage delivery across distributed teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, and quality standards between onsite and offshore engineers. People & Team Development * Mentorship & Coaching: Line-manage, coach, and develop L1–L3 Testing engineers. Support performance evaluations and knowledge transfer across the team. * Capability Building: Champion internal knowledge sharing — running technical workshops, code review sessions, and lessons-learned reviews to continuously raise the bar for the team. MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS * Experience: 8–12 years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 3+ years in a technical lead or test automation lead role managing delivery teams on enterprise engagements. * UiPath Test Suite Mastery: 5+ years of hands-on UiPath experience, with deep proficiency across Studio, Orchestrator, Test Manager, and Test Automation activities. Not just conceptual — you have built and governed production-grade frameworks. * Framework Architecture: Proven ability to design and enforce scalable automation architectures (REFramework, modular patterns) across multi-stream, multi-team engagements. * Delivery Accountability: Experience managing end-to-end quality delivery with direct accountability for timelines, scope, escalations, and client satisfaction — not just individual contribution. * Stakeholder Communication: Ability to present technical quality outcomes clearly to non-technical banking executives and programme leaders. Confident running client governance meetings. * Agile Delivery: Strong track record operating in Agile/Scrum or SAFe frameworks within large IT programmes, including working alongside BAs, developers, and business SMEs. UiPath Test Suite Capabilities * Define and govern the usage of UiPath Object Repository to ensure reusable, maintainable, and standardized UI element management across automation projects. * Configure and manage projects, requirements, test cases, test sets, and traceability within UiPath Test Manager. * Define and manage test execution strategies, including test sets, execution schedules, and release-specific test cycles. * Establish requirement-to-test-case traceability and ensure complete test coverage through Test Manager. * Knowledge of integrating UiPath Test Manager with third-party ALM tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Micro Focus ALM, and other enterprise test management solutions. * Experience establishing end-to-end traceability between business requirements, test cases, test executions, and defects across integrated ALM platforms. * Define and manage test data strategies to support functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities. * Design and implement data-driven automated tests using UiPath Studio to maximize test coverage and reusability. * Ensure availability, maintenance, and governance of test data across multiple environments and test cycles. * Collaborate with business and application teams to identify, create, and validate test datasets required for automation execution. * Establish best practices for parameterization, data variation, and reusable test assets within UiPath Test Suite. * Experience with UiPath Autopilot for Testers and AI-assisted test generation. NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS * Banking Domain Knowledge: Demonstrable working knowledge of core banking processes — payments, account management, lending, GL, regulatory reporting, or system integrations. You understand why these workflows are tested the way they are. * Core Banking Platforms: Prior exposure to FIS, Jack Henry, Temenos, or other core banking platforms. * CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on experience integrating UiPath test suites into DevOps pipelines and managing Continuous Testing in regulated, change-controlled banking environments. * UiPath Certified Solution Architect certification. * Experience with other UiPath components: Du, IXP, Maestro or Agentic Automation. * Familiarity with complementary test frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, or Tricentis. * Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling). * Background in automating enterprise applications such as SAP or Salesforce. * Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerised test execution. * ISTQB Advanced Level — Test Manager (CTAL-TM) or equivalent quality management certification.
