Financial Controller at FMT Sweden AB

Following a move to new facilities and the relocation of production back to Sweden, the business is now entering an exciting new phase with continued growth, development, and operational improvement high on the agenda.   About the role As Financial Controller, you hold overall responsibility for the finance function in Sweden. The role is broad and business-oriented, covering financial reporting, month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. You will play a key role in supporting the business with financial insight, investment analysis, and decision-making support that drives performance and long-term development. You will work in an international environment with many cross-border contacts and a high level of exposure to group functions. The role also includes personnel responsibility and active involvement in developing finance processes, ways of working, and systems.   Key responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes Ensure accurate financial reporting and follow-up Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Manage cash flow planning and working capital Ensure control over project accounting, inventory, and manufacturing costs Prepare financial analysis, investment cases, and decision support Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls Develop processes, routines, and financial systems

About you Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration Solid experience in accounting, controlling, or financial management Proven experience in financial closing, reporting, budgeting, and analysis Experience from an international environment or group structure Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English

Preferred qualifications Experience from manufacturing or project-based industrial environments Experience with project accounting and cost control Experience working in international group structures Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central
