Arbetsuppgifter Som Data Engineer på Columbus kommer du att vara en del av ett team som levererar moderna Data & AI-lösningar till kunder inom olika branscher. Din roll fokuserar på att bygga skalbara och moderna dataplattformar – vilket möjliggör för avancerad analys till beslutsstöd. En typisk arbetsdag kan innebära att du designar och bygger datapipelines i Azure Data Factory, arbetar med Datalake-arkitekturer i Microsoft Fabric eller utvecklar lösningar i plattformar som Databricks eller Snowflake. Du samarbetar med lösningsarkitekter och affärskonsulter för att leverera värdefulla lösningar för våra kunder. Vi arbetar främst inom Microsofts teknologistack, och dina projekt kommer ofta att involvera tjänster som Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Power BI med mera. Erfarenhet av – eller nyfikenhet på – Microsoft Fabric är mycket meriterande, då många av våra kunder är på väg i den riktningen. The Team: Cloud environments are used at Neo4j to perform pre-sales, proof-of-concept, and solution engineering activities with minimal oversight by IT or Security. This role, which resides in IT, will help conceptualize the requisite activities and carve a path toward effective and responsible management of these environments. Some examples of work you’ve performed aligned with these types of activities could be related to finance (budgeting, cost allocation, right-sizing environments) cloud maturity (IaC, naming conventions, tagging initiatives) security (CPSM, asset management, vulnerability) or automation (service catalogs, provisioning, secure configurations). With the correct guidance and prioritization from you, we seek to accomplish wins for management and security while enabling engineers to work faster and more securely than they do today. This role is global and will work across the organization. The Role: * Provide technical leadership through mentorship, documentation, reporting, and knowledge-sharing best practices to peers within IT and consumers of cloud infrastructure. * Play a crucial role in defining and delivering on the roadmap for cloud infrastructure. * Work with the security team to ensure alignment with their vision of cloud management, including compliance. * Liaise with Engineering teams on their use and management of cloud infrastructure to find synergies. * Operationalize the security, management and monitoring of cloud infrastructure. * Take on the Subject Matter Expert (SME) role for cloud in IT and continue to develop broad and deep understanding where opportunities may exist or when new offerings come to market. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree (or greater) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with in-depth knowledge of at least two of; AWS, GCP, and Azure. * Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards. * Experience in designing and implementing cost-effective solutions in cloud environments. * Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. We are on the lookout for versatile Full-Stack Engineers to help us design and build exceptional features that lower the bar for users to perform graph analytics. In this role, you will own the user-facing surface of those products. You'll help new users get to value quickly by reducing friction in their first workflows, and make our internal tooling effective enough that the rest of the team can support and operate the service confidently. You will work closely with our internal design system at neo4j.design, and collaborate across product, design, backend, and SRE to ship cohesive, end-to-end experiences. This is a mid-to-senior role at the intersection of product UX, graph analytics, and cloud data platforms. WHAT WE VALUE We’re looking for engineers with experience in both frontend and backend development. You should have experience designing APIs, implementing data persistence, and integrating with third-party services. Familiarity with automated testing approaches, from unit testing to full-stack integration tests, is important. A willingness to learn, grow, and tackle new challenges as part of a distributed and collaborative team is essential. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful features that enhance how users interact with Neo4j Aura graph analytics. You’ll work on everything from user-friendly interfaces to robust back-end systems, ensuring our solutions are scalable, reliable, and adaptable to diverse user needs. * Build and evolve the Aura Graph Analytics user experience inside the Neo4j Aura console. * Develop and maintain the in-app GUI for the Neo4j Graph Analytics App for Snowflake, an application that guides users through a multi-step workflow: selecting Snowflake data, projecting them as graphs, configuring and running algorithms, and writing back. * Design the graph-projection and algorithm-configuration UX for users who are not graph experts: clear workflow steps, sensible defaults, validation, and interactive previews of sampled graphs. * Improve the internal support tooling used to inspect the state of Aura Graph Analytics deployments and diagnose customer issues. * Use our shared design system (neo4j.design) so our products feel like one family. * Partner closely with product, design, backend, and SRE to ship cohesive end-to-end experiences across team boundaries.
