DevOps Engineer - Player Account Management

Currently, we are proud to have over 500 experts across various business fields and several offices in Bulgaria (Sofia and Plovdiv), Ukraine, and Malta.    About The Role:  As part of the Product Launch team, you will contribute to creating and scaling new products from the ground up. The team focuses on building solutions from zero to production, using modern technologies and scalable approaches before transitioning mature products to core teams.  You will work in a greenfield environment where you can influence architecture, technology choices, and development practices from day one. The team moves with focus and agility, driving each product phase forward and delivering meaningful value through every iteration.  It’s a build-from-scratch environment where ideas become impactful products through innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.    How You’ll Make an Impact:  * Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines from the ground up, enabling rapid, reliable delivery of new products in the public cloud.  * Own the infrastructure lifecycle end-to-end - from initial architecture and provisioning to scaling and optimization - using automation-first principles.  * Design and operate cloud-native, distributed systems, leveraging Kubernetes to ensure resilience, scalability, and fast iteration as products grow.  * Set up and drive real-time data capabilities using Apache Kafka, enabling new products to process and react to business-critical data streams from day one.  * Establish consistent, scalable configuration management practices across services and environments, ensuring every new product starts with a solid foundation.  * Implement observability as a core feature - building logging, monitoring, and alerting systems that provide immediate insight and support rapid decision-making.  * Continuously improve delivery speed, system reliability, and developer experience, removing friction and enabling teams to move from idea to production with minimal overhead.  * Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams during early-stage builds, shaping infrastructure and platform decisions that directly impact product success.    Employees may be required to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring availability outside regular working hours to handle urgent issues as needed as per the On-call policy.    Who You Are:  * Technical Expertise: Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.  * CI/CD Knowledge: Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools, including Git, Jenkins, and Microsoft Teams.  * Apache Kafka Expertise: Proven experience with Apache Kafka, including cluster management, topic configuration, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and a strong understanding of data streaming concepts.  * Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud.  * OS & Networking: Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems and networking fundamentals.  * Scripting Skills: Skilled in Python and Bash scripting.  * Management Processes: Knowledge of Change Management and Release Management best practices.  * Problem-Solving: Strong ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with a proactive mindset.  * Team Qualities: Highly motivated, responsible, dynamic, and an effective team player.    What We Offer:  We’re not just about work,  we are about creating a great place to grow, connect, and enjoy the journey. Currently, we are proud to have over 500 experts across various business fields and several offices in Bulgaria (Sofia and Plovdiv), Ukraine, and Malta.    About The Role:  As part of the DevOps team, you will contribute to designing and automating CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and operating large-scale Kubernetes environments.  You will work on building highly automated, observable, and scalable systems by applying modern DevOps practices and leveraging AI-assisted tooling to improve delivery speed, system reliability, and developer experience.  The DevOps team owns infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, centralized logging, and monitoring, and you will collaborate with experienced engineers to continuously improve workflows, optimize system operations, and explore AI-driven approaches for automation, incident management, and operational efficiency.    How You’ll Make an Impact:  * Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for applications deployed in the public cloud.  * Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management to ensure reliable and scalable cloud environments.  * Build, deploy, and operate distributed systems on Kubernetes, including defining and tuning auto-scaling strategies.  * Design and maintain data streaming platforms using Apache Kafka for real-time data ingestion and processing.  * Own and improve centralized configuration management across infrastructure and applications.  * Enhance observability by evolving logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to enable proactive issue detection and resolution.    Employees may be required to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring availability outside regular working hours to handle urgent issues as needed as per the On-call policy.     AI & Automation in DevOps:  We actively integrate AI into our daily workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and developer experience.
