This pivotal role involves the development of our ML framework and platform, develop Machine learning models and support our MLOps initiatives, serving as the Subject matter expert for the area. Your work will directly impact users and contribute to our ongoing success in the competitive market.   A TASTER OF WHAT YOU WILL BE INVOLVED WITH:  * Design and develop the frameworks and guardrails for the ML Solutions and products * Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform strategy development and ensure competitiveness * Direct the exploration and implementation of new AI technologies and methodologies, including MLOps * Lead the Design and development of Betsson’s ML platforms and solutions, addressing both batch and real-time solutions. * Provide technical leadership, setting clear deliverables and supporting team to achieve the results * Responsible for review and approval of key technical solutions * Design, develop, deploy and maintain a framework and a platform to leverage and standardize the utilization of Machine learning across the company * Oversee the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and pre-processing to model deployment and monitoring. * Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.     WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Bachelor’s in computer science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Master’s or Ph.D. in AI would be considered a plus. * At least 5 years of experience in the ML Field, have developed ML solutions and products, with significant experience in developing cutting edge platforms using Cloud (preferably AWS Sagemaker) to enable seamless evolution and standardized utilization of the Machine Learning by organization. * Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Data/AI/ML projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in AI technologies, event driven and real time data analytics environments, development and utilization of machine learning algorithms, MLOps and online feature stores for real time low latency applications. * Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the AI and ML space to proactively implement improvements, suggest innovative ways and ensuring Betsson remains at the forefront of innovation in this dynamic field. * Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring teams and translating complex AI concepts into clear business strategies to be communicated to different stakeholders at different levels of seniority and skills.   WHAT WE OFFER Much like riding a rollercoaster, sometimes life at Betsson can be lightning fast with twists and turns but always FUN! Our Sportsbook AI/ML Team is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to make a difference in the design and further development of AI and Machine Learning solutions for both internal and external business needs. We have a world-class Sportsbook, developed in-house by our dedicated Sportsbook tech team and growing at a very rapid rate, expanding not only in new markets but also as a B2B product. Having our product available in different parts of the world and offering sports all around the world requires to have support around the clock. THE WOW From Architecture to Trading teams, our Sportsbook is an in-house platform that also hosts brand offerings for customers. From the tools traders use to the cutting-edge features available for betting on various sports, these teams are the backbone making it all possible. The goal is to deliver top performance, functionality, and user experience in the iGaming industry. As part of our Sportsbook tech team, a high performance, throughout and availability product serving many brands (20+), you will be key in ensuring that the team delivers the required business value.   A TASTER OF WHAT YOU WILL BE INVOLVED WITH:  * Maintaining and evolving our AI/ML projects using Python * Build design Agentic LLM based solutions and maintain/improve existing ones * Ensure output quality by verifying consistency and accuracy * Investigate, assess, and develop cloud based MCP solutions * Comfortable working under Agile Framework (Scrum 2-week iterations) * Have an investigative mindset to be able to troubleshoot and being creative when it comes to troubleshooting problems and incident management * Document necessary processes and procedures (creating KBs, runbooks, topology etc) * Taking full ownership of projects and tasks with being able to work within the team * Work closely with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely insights to our business partners   WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Solid experience with Python and OOP * Experience with tools like Langchain, Langraph, Langsmith, FastAPI, Opensearch, Redis/Valkey, Pandas, Pytorch, spacy * Confident with LLMs and their evaluation practices and knowing /having some background on AI agentic tools, skills, workflows * Demonstrated experience with RAG systems, Vector embeddings, knowledge graphs * Confident with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud environments and having some experience with MLOps * Familiar with software versioning tools like Git * Additional programming skills, Prompt Engineering will be a plus * Experience in sportsbook/betting or fintech sectors is considered a plus * Continuous learning mindset * Can effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills WHAT WE OFFER   Much like riding a rollercoaster, sometimes life at Betsson can be lightning fast with twists and turns but always FUN!
