into actionable plans, market insights, and measurable outcomes. This role operates at the intersection of business development,
pricing and offers, product, business support, remarketing/pre-owned, forecasting, and market intelligence. You will both support
leadership priorities and lead defined projects and initiatives, contributing to Polestar Canada’s commercial performance and
long-term growth. This role plays an important part in supporting revenue growth, demand generation, and cross-functional

Let us describe the challenge we offer The Market Development Manager will support the development and execution of Polestar’s commercial and business development initiatives in Canada. You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to help translate commercial strategy into actionable plans, market insights, and measurable outcomes. This role operates at the intersection of business development, pricing and offers, product, business support, remarketing/pre-owned, forecasting, and market intelligence. You will both support leadership priorities and lead defined projects and initiatives, contributing to Polestar Canada’s commercial performance and long-term growth. This role plays an important part in supporting revenue growth, demand generation, and cross-functional commercial initiatives across the Canadian market. What you’ll do • Contribute to the development and execution of Canadian commercial strategies, including pricing, offers, and go-to-market initiatives • Support the identification and evaluation of new market opportunities and strategic initiatives across retail, B2B, and pre-owned channels in Canada. • Act as a project lead for key business development and commercial projects, from initial analysis through to execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Build and maintain a deep understanding of industry and market dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer trends to support strategic decision-making. • Support in development of ongoing pricing frameworks, lease structures, incentives, customer-facing offers and other projects as needed with data-driven analysis and recommendations. • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define forecasting, sales planning and order management • Support senior leadership in shaping and delivering on new commercial initiatives and programs. • Track, analyze and translate market performance KPI’s into actionable recommendations to leadership. • Contribute to communications with Polestar’s retailer network on programs and initiatives as needed. Who you are • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field. • 4–7 years of experience in a similar role managing business development, commercial strategy, sales operations, or automotive market intelligence. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects with competing priorities and stakeholders. • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex narratives up to executive level team members. • Solid understanding of automotive industry and commercial models. • Proven ability working with complex data to create in depth market analysis, pricing and commercial modelling. • Comfortable working cross-functionally. • Experience in a global organization is an asset. • Fluency in English and French, both written and verbal is highly desirable People at Polestar We know that a change is needed. Let us describe the challenge we offer As the Public Relations & Events Manager your primary focus will be on developing and executing proactive public relations and events strategies for Polestar’s products, technology and consumer facing narratives. In partnership with Communications & Marketing, you will take lead in managing media, journalists and influencer relationships, and execute PR campaigns which drive brand awareness engagement and consideration. You will also be directly responsible for creating and executing focused events in order to deliver brand and business results in alignment with market objectives. This role will require 20-40% travel throughout Canada and reports to the Head of Marketing, Canada. What you’ll do · Deliver and execute PR campaigns which build and maintain positive key media relationships for the company · Oversee product communications from launch through lifecycle management · Support corporate financial communications, including quarterly and annual reporting, ensuring clear, consistent messaging aligned with business performance and strategy · Act as the main PR contact for inquiries, statements, press escalations. · Lead experiential activities and events both for the media and the general public including product launches, auto shows, demo drives, influencer and sponsorship events. · Drive consumer facing communication efforts to increase brand awareness, consideration, reputation · Manage Canadian PR agencies of record, Event agency(ies), as well as vendor partners, ensuring quality completion of deliverables in support of departmental goals · Foster close collaboration with Communication & Marketing peers, supporting them as necessary · For PR and Marketing needs, manage and oversee the fleet vehicles, asset inventory and logistics, ensuring optimal usage, availability and maintenance · Track, monitor and report PR and event performance and KPIs, manage departmental budget · Upkeep and maintain internal archives and asset library · Support in ad hoc projects, events and tasks as needed Who you are · 7 – 10 years of experience in Public Relations or Communications · Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism or related field · Proven experience managing events, influencer programs, and external partners. · Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal, and both in English and in French required · Experience working for an automotive manufacturer, or a consumer PR Agency is highly desirable · Proven track record of managing successful PR campaigns and engaging events · Exceptional project management and multitasking abilities. · You understand the basic technical intricacies of the automobile, or possess the desire and proficiency to learn them · You thrive working within a fast-paced, ever evolving work environment · Comfortable managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional projects. As Market Development Manager you will be accountable for building and managing effective and lasting relationships with local decision makers and public transport authorities in Scotland, while working continuously to develop the service design, rider experience, and commercial performance in the region. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the local Policy and Operations team and other central stakeholders to grow Voi’s footprint and ridership in existing and new markets within Scotland. YOUR MISSION AT VOI * Build strong ties with key stakeholders (public transport authorities, city administrators, project managers, associations and partner companies). Run events and initiatives with the local public policy team to lift performance against city priorities and grow our footprint in existing markets. * Weigh up new market entry opportunities on commercial viability, regulatory readiness and strategic fit. * Represent Voi to towns and cities exploring shared micromobility, and lead pre-tender and tender work to make us the obvious choice. * Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with cities, securing sustainable terms that balance regulatory expectations with financial goals. * Act as the main point of contact for city stakeholders. Develop solutions that keep us compliant, address concerns and balance user experience with strong relationships with decision-makers. * Use data, analytics and market research to spot opportunities and improvements in operational efficiency and performance. * Own the city-level P&Ls and understand what really drives financial performance in each market. * Where relevant, work with competitors in the same cities to strengthen our shared footprint and compliance. * Partner with central growth and product teams on pricing and product strategy, balancing growth and profitability with policy and city needs. * Work closely with the local team to spot opportunities and lead projects that drive change. * Feed learnings from local markets back to central teams to sharpen playbooks, processes and frameworks. WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK * Bachelor or Master of Science in business, economics, engineering or similar would be a plus. * Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. * 3-5 years of experience in policy, government/enterprise key account management, operations or strategy, as a consultant or in a fast-paced environment. * Experience from negotiating and effectively managing external stakeholders, e.g. partners, government and media. * Experience from managing complex cross-functional projects and taking multiple diverging stakeholder needs into account. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to quickly adapt the messaging to a diverse audience. * Ability to work with analysis of large data sets using google-sheets or Excel. * Experience from working closely with a P&L, budgets, and business cases. * Flexibility to travel regularly to Scotland.
