WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for our first US Account Manager to join Omnea’s customer team. You’ll be excited to own expansion quotas and renewal outcomes for our rapidly scaling customer base, to build a function and to have a massively accelerated career trajectory. You will own the relationship with our customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle, playing a crucial role in managing our largest and most strategic customers. Your key focus will be to ensure customers get meaningful value from Omnea from the earliest stages & beyond, and through your expertise and the building of deep & long-term relationships with our champions, you will drive renewals, expansion and upsell opportunities. You’ll become a trusted advisor & partner to our customers & stakeholders at all levels (from the procurement managers up to the CFOs) and be the voice of the customer internally, working closely with teams across the business (both technical and commercial) to help ensure we are truly operating with customer-centricity at our core. You'll do whatever it takes to make sure our customers get real ROI and drive exceptional commercial outcomes. You'll go from being deep in a renewal negotiation to collaborating with sales to update our ROI calculator & business case, to attending events to network with C-Suite stakeholders, to being the voice of your customers in a product strategy workshop. You own NRR across a book of enterprise accounts, so everything you do is tied back to commercial outcomes. * Own a revenue number: You'll carry an NRR quota covering both expansion and retention across your enterprise book. That means proactively identifying upsell opportunities, running commercial conversations at exec level, and owning the renewal process end-to-end. * Build relationships that go all the way to the top: Your relationships will run from procurement managers to CFOs. You'll multi-thread across each account, building genuine trust across multiple stakeholders, and you'll be the person customers call when something goes wrong or when they're thinking about what's next. * Build the playbook from scratch: There's no fully built playbook yet - you'll help shape it. You'll work alongside an exceptional implementation team, product experts, and leadership that have scaled world-class companies to define the commercial rhythms, norms, and processes to set the standard as the function grows. * Shape what Omnea builds next: You're the closest person to what our customers will and won't pay for. You'll feed that signal directly to Product and Revenue leadership, surfacing what's blocking adoption, what's driving expansion, and where we should be investing. ABOUT YOU We don’t expect you to know exactly how to do absolutely everything when you join! We are looking for someone with the right attitude & skillset to take on this challenge. TL;DR you're commercially sharp and instinctively know how to navigate complex organisations. You might come from consulting, sales, or a generalist commercial role - what matters is that you've worked in proper enterprise environments, managed senior stakeholders with high expectations, and have a track record of getting things= done. * You have 4-8 years of experience in a top-tier & fast-paced environment; perhaps that’s a start-up or scale-up, VC, consulting, banking (or any prof services), or an entrepreneurial endeavour * If you have experience in a commercial role, you've worked on six-figure ARR+ accounts, navigated multi-stakeholder buying committees, and built genuine executive relationships. * You have the ability to build rapport, influence people & drive change, whether it’s with a distinguished exec or a junior operator. You have the gravitas and executive presence to engage and influence senior leadership (ideally into CFOs, Legal or Procurement). You’re a natural communicator and can get on well with anyone. * You're comfortable in ambiguity. You don't need a fully built playbook, you'll build it as you go and improve it as you learn. You're organised enough to manage a complex book of business without dropping anything, and confident enough to push back on customers when they're wrong. * You're ambitious, competitive, and care about doing excellent work. ABOUT YOUR ROLE The Technical Account Manager (TAM) – is part of the (technical) Market Readiness Team in the Product department and is responsible for managing the technical relationship between Fairphone and mobile carriers in North America. This role plays a central part in establishing the technical onboarding strategy, aligning telecom technical requirements, driving the product and software certification / approval process, and supporting long-term technical success throughout the product lifecycle. The TAM acts as the main point of contact for operator technical stakeholders and ensures internal alignment across Engineering, PLM, QA, and Product Management functions to fulfil or negotiate how partner requirements are implemented. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES List of Key Responsibilities * Dedicated technical interface for telecom partners in dedicated regions, ensuring ongoing communication and alignment. * Coordinate and document partner requirements, and ensure internal implementation planning across teams. This includes early reviews of PRDs in collaboration with product managers. * Manage device onboarding processes, including testing, partner certification, and approval of new products and software updates. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and resolution of issues raised by carriers, including Support and verification of network tests for the QA team in dedicated regions. * Represent Fairphone in carrier workshops, technical meetings, and program reviews in support of other sales or operations functions. * Maintain clear visibility on partner (requirement) roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables. Key Objectives * Build and maintain strong technical relationships with assigned mobile carriers, mostly in North America. * Define the most fitting technical onboarding strategy & timing to support product managers and sales account managers with time-to-market discussions. * Ensure correct integration of technical requirements from carriers into Fairphone’s hardware and software development processes across the whole lifecycle of our products. * Own and drive timely technical onboarding/carrier certification for both new devices and ongoing software updates during the product market lifecycle. * Follow-through of software issues raised by operators to expedite resolution, including close collaboration with SW engineering and QA team, including hands-on field testing where needed. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Must have’s * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. * Solid experience in a Technical Account Manager, Field Engineer, or Carrier Engineering role with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, working closely with North American carriers onboarding connected products, preferably smartphones. Experience with At&t and T-Mobile is a plus. * Familiarity with Android OS, GMS certification, and operator software validation workflows. * Background in working with mobile carriers, ideally within the smartphone or telecom industry. Experience in mobile device debugging, log collection, and issue replication. * Strong understanding of mobile network technologies, smartphone architecture, and software release processes. * Ability to manage technical discussions, timelines, and deliverables across departments and partner organizations. * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving mindset. * Ability to work independently and across time zones. The role requires strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills. Purpose of position Working as a Global Account Manager and using the award winning Awin network, you will be responsible for managing the affiliate campaigns of some of our global clients. This role involves managing a number of global retail clients, which in our Global Account Management team, will be some of the most demanding yet interesting affiliate programmes on the network. As the Global Account Manager, you will be part of a global team, both in your office location and part of a wider global client services team, which operate across the Awin territories. You will have the support of a Global Account Executive, so you will need to be able to delegate work as well as working collaboratively with teams across Awin, to ensure the client is getting the best return on their global affiliate programmes and can see the benefit of working with one global affiliate network.
