WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise, including advanced proficiency in Python for building scalable backend systems and production-ready services. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/ Azure / GCP. * Strong understanding of software architecture, code quality practices, and engineering best practices. * Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and operate effectively as a senior individual contributor. * We are looking for candidates with hands-on C#/.NET development experience, given that C#/.NET 10 is our primary backend stack and key to our long-term platform strategy and flexibility. * Strong problem-solving, and collaboration skills, especially within fast-growing engineering teams. * A proactive mindset with the ability to guide junior engineers and help scale engineering excellence across the organization. The Core Team is a platform team in the Developer Platform domain. Its mission is to provide central services around our core entities and systems that make it easier for Product Teams to build functionality on top of. The team provides these "as a service" through clear APIs, documentation and support - focusing on creating a smooth developer experience for other teams. The team also focuses on topics like standardisation, re-use and reducing duplicated effort across the department. As a Senior Engineer in this team, you will play a key role in shaping the platform's infrastructure direction - including API gateways, load balancers, authentication flows, and container orchestration - ensuring our platform is reliable, secure and scalable.
